@@pilot_obet I’d be curious to know what’s the most challenging approach you’ve ever flown? Living in HKG I presume the old Kai Tak airport or perhaps some in Africa? Would be nice to hear. I enjoy your videos and like I said your passion. Thanks for taking the time to write back, keep the great videos and affability coming.
I really marvel at how u present your flying knowledge. I m passionate about flying although I m now 62. Good that you intially trained from zasti here in zambia. I really love your passion and zest for flying. Keep it up my man.
I’ve been only once to Hong Kong, and just for a few days. But I really want to come back, even if just as a tourist! ... and yes: Cathay Pacific is great. I hope they will return to their original standards from 2012/2013 when the entire industry has recovered again!
@@Tranefine I've been to Hong Kong lots as my family is in Australia and it's an ideal en-route stop. It's a beautiful city! And I too wish Cathay Pacific all the success in the world
@@simplyaerospace1266 - The only time I‘ve been to Hong Kong was in 2017 for an en-route stopover on my way to Australia as well. I‘ve visited Australia as part of my language stay to learn proper English, I thought that Hong Kong would make a perfect stopover for some days, and I wasn’t disappointed. And as I said: CX is an excellent Airline!
@@hellkell8693 I think no city will be the same as is was prior to COVID. But I agree with your thoughts about the growing Chineese interference in Hong Kongs politics. It's a shame how liberty dies more and more from the inside in Hong Kong!
@pilot_obet quick question. For the EO part, I understand you would continue on SID and climb to 8400. But what did you mean when you said you would get to 8400 before MSA(6400)? Thank you so much for the video.
Hi , I'm from Brazil, city Sete lagoas, state Minas Gerais, and I like yours videos a lot because I see happiness, partnership and I larn a lot, I'm comercial pilot of plane but not professional yet , but I will be soon, thank Captain !
So the briefing, we'll push and get start to clearance, then taxi out to the nearest runway. I'll take a glance at the wind sock in the way past, but whatever it looks like, we're taking the nearest runway. When we take off and get positive rate, I'm gonna gear up, hit LNAV @ 400FT if not already armed, and as soon as well pass around a thousand AGL I'll stick vnav on, autopilot a few moments later, then clean up on schedule and I've after takeoff checklist is complete, I'm off to bed, wake me up on final. Cheers
Best Pilot on TH-cam and Instagram. Must be fun working with you, extremely passionate about your career.
Thank you Sir

Unfortunately HKG isn’t the same city it used to be prior to COVID and the CCP cracking down.

@Pilot_obet - I have done some research and believe the software you are using on your tablet is Jeppesen software - yes?
Yes it is. I think you can subscribe to them as an individual for a specific package.
As an aviation enthusiast, is it possible to get the software you're using on your handheld tablet device?
I’m not sure- it’s a company issued iPad.
Captain what's your full name.
later yes
Later (english), Later (afrikaans) hallo Tim.. :-)
