Thanks for always being so honest about your skin issues. I’ve battled with acne for a long time and hearing what works for others gives me ideas of what new products I should try. Thank you!
I love how you thoroughly explain each product and how it works for you some people just talk about how much they like it but don't go into detail. I also have acne prone skin so I know that many of the products mentioned will be able to work for my skin so I really appreciate the fact that you decided to do another skincare video! :)
From one acne prone girl to another, I recommend the Elta MD sunscreen. They have a moisturizing version and an acne prone version which are both fabulous!
Something about your make up in this video is giving me all the 90's MAC, Cindy Crawford Cover Girl days vibes. In the best possible way!!!! You look stunning as always.
I was very skeptical with Origins products. It wasn't until I went to this event I got Origin's sample Out of Trouble masque! I was surprising impressed with the results. The Dermalogica special cleansing gel is a bit to basic for me but very gentle! And don't get me started on IS Clinical products. Their vitamin c product is one of my top 5 of all time! great video!
So sorry this is late but could you use the Dr.Dentist peel pads in the morning or throughout the day as like a cleanser wipe? Thank you so much ❤️❤️❤️
Hey Sona! I’m interested in beginning to get monthly facial because I also wear makeup everyday and my pores easily clogged. What type of facial would you recommend I get? What kind of facials do you get?
Thank you for sharing your skincare products. As our skin is our largest organ of our bodies. I think we all need to give it as much love as we can afford. I have extremely dry dehydrated skin. However it’s also very sensitive. I’ve found that the more I exfoliate the less sensitive it’s become. Of course there are always things that can cause it to flare up. What eye creams/ serums etc do you use for your eyes? Thanks.
Can u do a video with this makeup look? Absolutely obsessed with this look. Really like this casual setting and the explanation of these products. Need the tutorial of this makeup look though. Can't help but stare at the eyes, lips, cheeks....love!!!
Good morning Sona! I know I'm late to the party, but I'm curious to know what some of your favourite eye creams are that don't interfere with your concealer application.
@sona I would only stick to physical or mineral spf if ur acne prone . Chemical spf breaks you out like crazy and I’m pretty sure that the Clarins spf is a chemical spf 😚😗
I'm so glad to see those Origins and Dr Gross products getting some love! I've used them for years and like you, my skin has never felt better. This was a great video, thanks for introducing me to new products!
Winny Hasan I thought so too. Weird. The thumbnail for this video doesn’t even look like her. She maybe got some lip filler and some fillers in her chin. Her face shape is different. And that cream is $300. Come on. No cream is worth that. Kinda annoyed she even mentioned it honestly.
Winny Hasan, yes I instantly noticed difference as well. Lips, cheeks, her face has different shape, she has 100% done something here and there. I don't know if you live in LA? I do, and women in areas Santa Monica,West Hollywood,Brentwood,Beverly Hills,Pacific Palisades are pretty uptight and insecure when it comes to look and as a cherry on the top you have to drive Tesla. It's kind of sad, because she really is "naturally beautiful" Armenian young woman .................not anymore.
I have dry dehydrated skin because of my thyroids. Can you recommend a mask or any other product for some pores Ive been noticing lately on my cheekbones? I love this kind of video. Chit chat kinda informal free style.
I am about to be 40 next week and the acne struggle is still a struggle! I have found using the Pacifica Cactus Water as a toner once I have washed my face helps a great deal. Also doing regular masks (the clay and the charcoal ones, I have one from Origins that I love). I have not figured out acne scars yet.I have just started taking a vitiam from Olly that's geared towards the skin and I am starting to see my skin improve. The last thing I do is drink LOTS OF WATER, throughout the day. I start drinking water right when I get up and right up until bedtime. That seems to help my skin as well.
Hi Sona, great video, I was waiting for it (I’m skincare obsessed too! 🙋🏻♀️) 😊 What is the shelf-life of the vit C serum once opened? I heard they have a very short shelf-life
Have you ever tried any of the Kiehl’s mask? I feel like you are missing out. Their stuff is so good for hydration, acne prone skin and sensitive skin. 👌
Omg I've been looking for a good highlighter everywhere and my heart wasn't set on anything so I AM SO HAPPY YOU GUYS RESTOCKED I'M DEFINITELY GOING TO TRY OUT THE ZUMA SHADE YAY!!! CANT WAIT..
Amazing suggestions! I've got oily/combo skin, hyperpigmentation marks (Ive gotten back onto Caudalie Vinopefect serum, I'm adding in the essence they have in that line as well). I had no clue about daily masks! I always thought 1x a week. Will defintely be upping my mask routines. Great product choices. worth looking into. And i love the vibe of the video! Very relaxed and laid back💖💖💖💖
Sona! First of all oh my gosh you look beautiful! I love the background and natural light :) also I love your energy in this video! I remember you mentioning a while back in one of your videos that you wanted to show your personality more and girl, your personality has been shining through in all of your videos and insta stories and photos! It’s so much fun to watch! Keep doing what you’re doing because you’re such an inspiration. Sorry this is such a long comment! I love you! 💕
Hey Sona, is there any way you can do a skincare followed by your daily makeup routine please. Its confusing lets say you put the clarins sunscreen then what if you use the erborian cc cream or a foundation with spf!?!? Love you! #personababe
Hi babe, I always recommend using a sunscreen before makeup, even if your base has SPF in it. I have an entire blog post about how to wear sunscreen with makeup if you want more deets. 🙌🙌
Love this raw style video xxx and I'm so obsessed with skin care myself I'm using the double serum by Clarissa as my might anti ageing serum you think the Estée Lauder night repair would be better I have sensitive dry skin xxxx
I also have acne prone skin and you should try the Sk2 clear lotion and also the tatcha water cream. Both are really great for acne prone and sensitive skin :)
Yees I like this setting 👌🏼 Have you tried that scar cream Roxette talks about a lot, I think its Derma E scar gel, something something! I got the Mario Badescu vitamine C serum and I LOVE it. Have you tried The ordinary ? Its also super good 😩👌🏼 and insanely affordable
Your bedroom is so cute 🌸 Have you tried the Aztec Secret Indian Healing Clay Mask?? It's so good. I don't have problematic skin but my skin is dry and this mask doesn't dry out my skin at all!! I mix it with raw apple cider vinagar, you can use water instead. I love the tingling effect, you can really feel the mask penetrate into the pores 👌🏼 You should give it a try.
Love this video style! Also try Elta MD sunscreen for acne prone skin! It helps with preventing new breakouts and overall great product for sensitive acne prone skin!
1- stunning as always! 2- love the set up and 3- any suggestions for acne scarring for a teen? My daughter is almost 13 and has been dealing with acne... looks like the treatment they gave her has helped with overall acne but the scars and the redness is still there ... any suggestions would be greatly appreciated... thank you!😘
Check out wishtrend’s TH-cam channel and blog posts. They are posting a video just on acne scaring and suggestions within the next three days I believe!
heyyy i love ur video!! 💕💕 anyway for the clogged pores, u can try to use OIL cleanser everyday to remove makeup before using the normal face cleanser. oil cleanser usually clean deep into the pores so it can help w acne prone skin 😊 ive tried it and i can see the difference in my skin.
It's hard to believe that you dont have perfect skin ;). I have oily acne-prone skin. I am happy how The Ordinary, Arcona, Pixi and some Korean products like COSRX have helped me with my skincare journey. I was interested to try IS serum but it is expensive and not available in my country. I will be looking forward to your next recommendations.
Awww love it!! Would you believe I actually just ordered the Estée Lauder serum and La Mer cool gel creme (and eye creme) the other day from Bloomies! Should be getting it tomorrow. So do you typically use a micellar water first, eye makeup remover and then face wash? I also ordered the La Mer micellar water to try that’s why I was asking 😘😘 love ya xx
Yes! I love these kind of videos :) thanks for sharing the one product you might really like is the Èminence Organic citrus & kale potent C + E Serum I’ve been using it for over a week and I love it it’s like a pressed juice for your skin :) xx
Hi Sona , this video was actually really on time for me coz it's time to update my skincare products. Thanks for sharing it and btw I loved your makeup and the lip colour is just stunning on you . Love you
Looking Beautiful! I like masks for relaxing and feeling pampered but sometimes I don't really see any difference. But I guess for my age I have pretty clear skin #60
Hi Sona, yes this setting is a nice change 😉 and it felt relaxing to watch it 😍 like talking to a friend 😎 I love this video, cause I have a lot of new inspirations..do you have an experience with any other Dermalogica products (for yout skin type of course) Im considering to buy some..and to SPF I use the Kiehls one and its also really good and hydrating, Clarins is next 😉 have a nice day😘
❤️Really enjoyed this video. I have oily/normal skin & I just recently tried EMU OIL to prevent any breakouts. I use the brand Purple Emu which is supposed to be one of the better brands. Love Love Love this stuff!! A must try- it’s excellent. Have you ever tried Emu Oil? If so what are your thoughts? ❤️
To echo someone below - yes you are doing the mask thing a little wrong! Haha - I totally mean it in the most supportive way also! I too was all about drying out my face to solve break out and oily issues but then facial oils happened and I'm a changed girl! You probably don't have to do so much 😘 But a routine nonetheless is better than nothing!
You are so so pretty !! I have started to mask and I love it. I need to try what you have tho. I need a cheaper version I don’t have oily skin I’m more dry. Love you xo
Sona! Omg you look amazing!!! YES!!! I love these types of videos! Just so relaxed! Hope you do more of these... I miss how YT used to be. LOL I have acne prone but combo skin. So this video helped out a TON!!! THANK YOU!!!!! XOXOXOXOOXOXO

Hi Sona. What products do you use after the peel pads? Can you use a serum after with glycolic acid? Thanks!
Sona, have you tried the Glossier sunscream? It’s absolutely amazing. No white cast and super light!
Have you tried the tea tree oil? I have used the tea tree oil line from The Body Shop, and I liked it . It is good for acne skin.

Hey! Are you secretly wearing your new Nude liquid lip color here?
To echo someone below - yes you are doing the mask thing a little wrong! Haha - I totally mean it in the most supportive way also! I too was all about drying out my face to solve break out and oily issues but then facial oils happened and I'm a changed girl! My skin is changing as I age (gasp!) but layering oils and moisture has made a world of difference. Those clay masks should only be used 2x max especially with all the chemical exfoliation you're doing. You're young! It all looks good now - but you may be over processing. You probably don't have to do so much 😘 But a routine nonetheless is better than nothing!
Literally obsessed with your makeup and this more chill set up babe ! Loveeeee. But love both setups tooo 💕💕💕💕

Avene TriAcneal is my fave for acne and acne scars. It's just the BEST. I've been using this since I was a teenager and it always works for my skin. Highly recommended.
