I started watching your vlog because of your thankful behavior. If you put a wet kitchen towel under the cutting board it will not slide so easily on the kitchen counter. It's much more safe to cut this way.

Butter chicken looked delicious 😋. I make it sometimes, mainly for my son. I use some of the spices in the yogurt, chicken mixture too. Butter chicken also goes well with rice. I use few whole cardomom in the sauce but take it out when I put the sauce in the blender or food processor because my son prefers the sauce to be smooth. Also I put in coriander leaves. The canned tomatoes I use is, Indian style by Watties. I sometimes also add in one or two fresh tomatoes depending on the size of the tomatoes if I am in the mood along with the canned. Thanks 👍

You cook very delicious. But your knife looks actually not sharp anymore. I think it is a good idea to buy a knife sharpener or a new Santoku knife. It's so important as kitchen chef to have a good working knife. 😊

For schabowe you have to cook potatoes and make a salad called mizeria. Mizeria it's mainly cucumbers with cream.

I've made it a few times for my family & it's always a hit. But the process is a bit different from yours, and I always serve it with rice. Naan bread may be on the side. In any case, it's a great dish.

I'll second a comment posted by a Polish viewer -- schabowy and mizeria are yummy and easy to prepare. In addition, you could have a go at beetroot soup (barszcz) if the ingredients are available -- or, if you like pickled vegetables, you could make a stew based on sauerkraut (a bit like kimchi?) called 'bigos'. It's not to everybody's taste but it's very versatile, you can add your favourite meats or sausages to it etc. Good vibes from a Pole in Oxford, England. Btw, I, too, often 'get excited and do weird things' (13:48) lol 🙂
