I have just purchased a 18mm. British Army from Eureka UK. I would really like a how to paint a French or Austrian Army, video. As both armies are white/grey uniforms in the main and maybe painting horses. I like the way you have organised the units.
I shall have to use Col. Bill Gray’s Age of Honour supplement with his Age of Eagles Rules until I have enough figures painted.

Dear Leon I am going to be posting the Reichs Armee video tomorrow we can have a side chat if you wish on how I organized everything but the fire and fury base rules give you a great clue.your right both armies have whitish coats but look really different. My French army has just as many I. Blue and red coats as white.
I will look at making such a video as this was the purpose of my videos to begin with. To help!!!
Your armies are a joy to behold kevin this one is stunning im just waiting for a delivery of 28mm austrians for the 1809 period but looking at these old glory figures i may be tempted
hxjay1971 I fell in Love with the history of our truly First World War. The uniforms are really wonderful. It was the high mark I think for Austria. It appealed to me. Glad you like them.

Thank you. I used mainly old glory for this army. My library is quite good. But passion is my driver. I quite liked how it turned out. I’ve added a few more units since I made the video as well. Thanks for the comments.

I'm doing Austrians. Did Napoleonic Austrian already. I have no particular connection with Austria but just love the look of them
I also liked the look very much I have this seven year war army and in the Polionic one. They play differently but I always like them. I lived not far from Austria it was there many times and for work almost monthly. So I fell in love with Diana and of course the wonderful military museums
@@thekrausecollection15mmmin53 I am slo playing with doing the French revolutionary wars. A bit of a niche subject for gamers I guess but have long wanted to do something for the era since reading the Campaigns of Napoleon

Michael Carlin well. I could if you think that would be interesting. I just finished five more Austrian battalions. I was reading on lobositz yesterday. But mollwitz could be good. Thanks for the comments. I promised to get out a few ancient armies this weekend. But I’ll look into that.

Gorgeous work as always! I do love the Habsburg armies. There is something about the white coated kaiserliks with their regimental facings, and the more colourful cavalry that really appeals. Do you have any other SYW armies?
Ben Fiene I really enjoyed this army. Yes I have the Prussians, Russians I am finishing now, French a very large collection, British, Hannover, Hessen, saxony and the Reichsarmee. Pretty much everyone. Oh even indians 😉

Dear Sir, you are very right my dear friend. I was in the Vienna war museum just recently and was able to see a uniform from this era. I tried to paint them with a grey undercoat with a little white highlight but I think the camera made them look more white than They actually are in reality. I need a new camera.

Well very few people are as insane as I am. I’m sure your collection is beautiful and very attractive. 15mm is more about mass effect and battlefield like visual. Your scale is wonderful for skirmish and really showing the beauty of the uniforms.
