I've decided to use Unreal 1 track style for this one and made it with ambient-action parts. I hope You'll find it entertaining.
As for me, it was one of the hardest remix of whole UT99 album so far %-)

Спасибо! Начал писать сам ремикс именно с этой части, так что, можно сказать, потом просто подгонял оригинальный кусок к этому xD
It already feels a bit faster than the original which is a nice change, the original felt too slow in a way. This matches the pace of the game better while still keeping the same tone of the original.
Just hit 3:40 and just wow, the new sounds add so much to the song. I'm really digging the changes you made to this.

You never disappoint with your amazing remixes of an old soundtrack that is almost but forgotten today. Listening to a whole playlist of your music sends me in a nostalgia trip and I get into my usual habit of wanting to reinstall Unreal Tournament once more to relive the glory days of fragging bots.

I'm not much of a commenting type of person but this one deserves it.
First of all, I was sad that once again it was not Razorback's turn.
Second, I started listening to the track anyway just to realize that it was one of my least favorite ones.
Third, I read through the comments and people were talking about minute 3:40.
Fourth, minute 3:40 arrived and, oh my. Everything changed. It is very well done Necto. You can tell it has the original baseline, but it's improved greatly.

Enigma has such a pensive and anxious tone that makes it stand out from the more celebrated UT music. In a way it sounds appropriate now as we're coming to the last stretch of your remix lineup.

This song has never made any kind of sense to me, but i like your remix.
Very glad to alter Your point of this track. To be honest it's quite weird indeed, but I already like it "just" with 1000+ auditions %-D
I always felt Enigma had the feeling of a U1 track rather than a UT1 track, and you know I don't mean that in a bad way. Just went to show the variety in the sights and sounds of UT1.
I feel the same, just as Seeker, Colossus and maybe Mission Landing.. I found it pretty close to Unreal 1 spirit.
@@nectoulin Definitely! Such good sounds, and still managed to fit the atmosphere despite the fast-paced fragging. That's just how good the music and the environments are in UT1!

Это не чьё-то восприятие, так работает русский язык)

Хочу добавить, что энигма из 99 года в принципе один из моих любимых треков (искренне не понимаю, почему он многим не нравится). Первая часть - скорее ремастер, она замечательная и трогает за душу, вторая же - ИДЕАЛЬНО подходит на фон во время матча и в тоже время звучит очень "по-анрильному". Возможно, это ключ к разгадке, почему ты сделал 2 ремикса в одном видео)
Спасибо! Да, оригинальный трек довольно размеренный, была идея сделать его весь быстрым и, как следствие, непохожим на оригинал. Но потом вспомнил, что уже где-то слышал такую структуру трека - сначала медленный эмбиентный мотив, а затем энергичная часть, собственно, в старом добром первом Unreal, так что решил сделать что-то подобное :)

Hey, I figured out a way to mod some your tracks into UT2004
It's real easy, you just need to go into the game's "Music" file, and put these tracks in with the same filenames as the vanilla ones you want to replace.
Yes, but if I'm not mistaken there is need to convert it to .ogg first, right?

This has always been one of the most mysterious tracks - I really like this version! It's got a lot of your style to it which I love, it makes it feel like it fits better with the others when before it was really a weird outlier!
