  • Legendary Swiss Hill Climb - Classic Sports and Race Cars at the Kerenzerberg Hill Climb 2022 - 3rd heat with prototype cars, formula cars, pre-war cars and show cars. The 3rd race heat was completed with a group of classic motorcycles from the period 1966 - 1988.
The Kerenzerberg Hill Climb has a long tradition, is strongly anchored in the region and was officially held as a demonstration event for racing cars from the pre-war period and for historic racing cars up to the year 1988. The montage shown here shows the great sports and racing cars as well as the motorcycles of the 3rd racing group leaving the paddock, racing and returning to the finish line.
This year's Kerenzerbergrennen as it is called in German could be held in the best sunshine and thus also allowed a view of the impressive alpine mountains. The start was true to the original at the Restaurant Waid in Mollis (at the foot of the Kerenzerberg) and the course led over 3.17 km with 4 hairpin bends, long sweeping curves, fast straights and an altitude difference of 217 meters up to the hamlet of Fohrenwald, before the forest entrance to the Kerenzerberg pass. This largely corresponds to the original track of 1967 - 1970 and was already then a challenge for drivers and racing cars of the same kind. Have fun watching!
