Really great job MPZ, as always, thanx ! How it's crazy to see some big american straightliners dancing a ballet on this wet road !! It's difficult yet to lead those kind of monsters (Galaxy, Falcon, Corvette, Mustang...) on a hillclimb race, but under the rain, it's a really feat if you don't crash... I want to say that it seems more easy to drive a 911 in those conditions, of course it's not at all.

Does this event have an steep S turn in a village with tall stone walls on both sides? I'm trying to find an old clip I saw, would like to at least narrow it down to the event, this looks very close.
Looks like one early one, probably late 40s-early 50s. And yeah, the driver braving the conditions in that kind of car is remarkable, but then *all of them did brave the weather!*

Love those old US cars especially the C2 Vette. Surprised and relieved at the same time there weren't any crashes.
that 911 at 5:00 came close, but the old open/soft tops are nerveracking, if they went off anywhere here, that'd be instantly fatal.
