Looked more like a threat than an actual attempt at an attack because Kevin was so docile afterwards and calmly let Chandler pick his entire body up without even having to keep his head turned towards him. He just trusted Chandler to pick his whole ass up and allow Chandler to be out of his eye line with no problem. I love Kevin. I know he can’t love me back because he’s a snake, but I will love him anyway. He’s a good boy.
As a keeper of “ hots” I recognized that blushing in chandlers face immediately after the near miss! Being through this a few times myself, you can’t convey the immediate rush of heat and adrenaline! Stay safe, complacency will kill you before the snake!

I think Kevin could also be a good watch dog….er I mean watch cobra. Can you imagine the surprise to see a cobra all hooded out and coming at you in the dark? Somebody would maybe have to check their shorts.

Him handling a black mamba is cutting it a little close but a lot of the cobras are really predictable. And even if he doesn’t have anti venom on hand he handles snakes for a living and I’m sure dude knows a ton of people in the area

I’ve always had a massive fear of snakes, hated the thought of being in a room or even looking through glass. Since watching these vids (religiously) I’ve come to love learning about snakes. Last week at the Zoo I had an opportunity to have my kids meet and touch a African Python, so went along and held a I Python!! Almost felt like it was saying hello and totally lost my fear! Thanks C for educating me!

Same here! I actually grew to love them so much I got a cornsnake for my son (mostly for me :D). And I used to avoid going into forests because I was terrified of seeing a snake. Amazing how life long fears can dissapear and become a passion even.

I think when a snake "misses" it's not because of someone's fast reflexes, it's because it intended to miss. I was raised around horses and they will play with you or our dogs in the field kicking their feet up in your general direction but "missing". And we used to have riding students make comments like "good thing (s)he missed!" when kicking out at someone or another horse/animal eg. our dogs. And I would always correct them to keep them having a healthy respect for animals that are so large, fast and can potentially dangerous by letting them know, the only reason the horse "missed" what it was kicking at, was because (s)he completely intended to miss. They have lightning fast reflexes (quicker than we do) and are very accurate. If the horse intended to kick you, they could have two or three times before you were even able to figure out what was happening. I kind of feel the same about snakes, they're deadly accurate/fast and only "miss" biting someone because they intended to. I have slowed down the speed on some of the close calls I have seen Tyler and Chandler have had, and the snake struck and recoiled before they were even able to begin to react.
Kevin’s the best snake ever! Love him so much and I can see the intelligence he has in his eyes. Even though he launched at you, it didn’t look like he had his mouth open to bite, so was if more of a mock strike just to say ‘stay back a bit more dad?’

King Cobras or Ular Tedung Selar is extremely common in kampung areas. Some even managed to end up in cities or towns. I highly recommend you watch this channel as it is not only entertaining but also educative in nature.

I think it’s a bunch of Smoke being blown! Reality is that FWC only bans animals that have become invasive in Florida and yes I am licensed so I already own animals that people can’t have! So I’ll be fine and I think so will everyone else! I only believe information from FWC itself, not random sources claiming what fwc will do… i’m not gonna go fight with the people that literally give me my permits as well as defending me last year when I was attacked by a whole county! Sorry for the rant but I’ve experienced and learned a lot these past few years!

Whoa, that was quite a scary close call, I would've expected that from Justina. It amazes me how much some people are willing to risk their lives to show their love for these amazing animals.
Ehh idk im falling toward people are just to confident in what there doing and have no fear is what it comes down to yes he loves reptiles but there not toys you cant just play with them especially ones with venom

Hey chandler what do you think about the proposal for banning animals that are not native to Florida? And will it effect you or will you be able to keep your animals because you have permits?
I think it’s a bunch of Smoke being blown! Reality is that FWC only bans animals that have become invasive in Florida and yes I am licensed so I already own animals that people can’t have! So I’ll be fine and I think so will everyone else! I only believe information from FWC itself, not random sources claiming what fwc will do… i’m not gonna go fight with the people that literally give me my permits as well as defending me last year when I was attacked by a whole county! Sorry for the rant but I’ve experienced and learned a lot these past few years!

lmao i always get a kick out of the cobras when theyre in their cages. They always hood up and are just looking with a derp look on their face starring out at you guys ( i know they are far from derp, theyre extremely intelligent). Its adorable. Also love me some kevin, espeically when you leave him out as you clean. He just so chill and looking around.
