Same. One of the best videos ive ever seen of anyone handling a venomous snake. Steve Irwin level!
I never thought I'd cry over a king cobra. My condolences, Chandler
Same, this is very sad
Same.
I was crying too.
Me too…😢

I used to be completely terrified of snakes. Your relationship with Kevin was the start of my overcoming the fear. This is Kevin's legacy. Understanding snakes esp. King Cobras! Sorry for your loss sir
Steve will keep him company. I can just picture him telling Kevin “aren’t you a beaut!”it’s been 3/4 years since I first started watching Kevin. He is why I found your channel
RIP Kevin, you were loved by many - such an incredible ambassador xxx
He was the greatest King Cobra in all of Hiss-tory.
Rip. Sorry for your loss
Oh man, I am so sorry bro! If it was possible for him to have any affection at all, I have no doubt he did for you man! Thank you for your continued conservation and protection of GOD'S creatures! All of em!!!!

"Have fun hanging out with Steve Irwin" damn that line hit me. I miss Steve so much. Kevin and Steve both had a huge positive influence on this world and the reputation of reptiles. Both absolute kings. I can absolutely see them becoming besties up there.
Im sure Brian B is with them too
They deserve each other I’m sure they will be living it up as the royals they really are of the reptile world poor guy I hope he went peacefully
@Akakko1 don't forget Forrest Fanning and Ryan, Dingo's friend from South Africa
lol
Have you ever seen Steve Irwin's tribute by Melodysheep on youtube? If not you should watch it, they did a beautiful job.
RIP King Kevin. It’s sad but, he’s slithering across that Rainbow Bridge now. Sorry for your loss Chandler. I’ve watched you with this snake for years now. A great ambassador for his species. He will be missed and remembered.
Kevin was a highlight on your channel. SIP (Slither In Paradise) Kevin. Condolences from Santa Barbara, CA.
Kevin was the reason I started watching this channel 4 years ago. May his legacy outlive all of us.

I prayed the title was click bait. My heart broke. I never thought I’d shed a tear for a snake but I did for Kevin. Watching you give him a drink from the hose, remove shed from his chin, and seeing the intelligence in his eyes has been wonderful. The clip of you kissing him broke me. Kevin’s legacy is that so many of us who disregarded snakes as mindless predators have learned to appreciate them. Thank you, Kevin, for teaching me so much. Rest in peace knowing you are much loved.
I know but if he’s looking for a way to memorialize Kevin he can use determisd beetles or however you spell their name they eat flesh and leave just the bones which could be preserved and set in position
@@RobertGrcia They’re called Dermestid Beetles. Derma meaning skin.
I know I shed a tear too, 😢 he's such an icon, such a majestic reptile and he was the reason I started liking cobras x
I'm crying to

My 9 year old daughter loves Kevin, she's going to be heartbroken when she sees this :( She drew a picture of him only a couple weeks ago.
No that is so sad 😭
😭
Sorry to see this sad video. RIP Kevin.
That’s so sad
Yep. I have an 11 year old daughter. I don’t want to break the sad news to her. Kevin was much loved!
My stomach dropped when I seen the title. I'm so sorry; I know he meant the world to you. We love you Kevin, RIP. ❤
I literally was gobsmacked my jaw hit the floor I'm gutted for Chandler but also Tyler too the love they both had for Kevin was amazing to see Steven Irwin is waiting for him R.I.P King ❤

I’m almost certain Kevin is the animal that brought me to your channel, it was a video of you handling him and soaking him. Many years of videos from you all because that beautiful animal. Thank you for sharing him with us. Rip Kevin
I came to your channel because of Kevin. His tolerance for you and demeanor in general was like no other. We will miss Kevin, and his legacy will live on.
No matter if it's the dog you grew up with or a 15' Cobra it always hurts when they pass. R.I.P. Kevin.
I am 66 years old and I grew hating snakes. And that all changed after I was introduced to both you and that wonderful snake named Kevin. You both have changed my life for the better. God bless you both. RIP Kevin. 👍🙏🏻❤
Same here, man, him and Brian, who died recently, they help me understand more about snakes.
My point exactly. ❤
So sorry for your loss, man. Losing a treasured animal is never easy. I hope you don’t give up on keeping king cobras, because you do so well with them. You gave that snake a very happy life, and I hope you can take some solace in that.
Rest in peace, King of our Hearts. The most coolest and most mature snake in the world. You'll never be forgotten.
Chandler, don't apologize for being emotional. This animal was like your son, and we loved him just as much. We will miss him and he will live on forever in our hearts.
Rip Kevin, the reason I started watching this page❤

“Every man’s heart will beat its final beat, his lungs their final breath and if what that man did in his life time makes the blood pulse through the bodies of others and makes the bleed deeper, then his spirit, his essence will be imortalised and live forever” ( james helwig) kevin was the face of chandler wildlife amd will forever be in the hearts of all repitile lovers
There has been no single King Cobra that has made a bigger impact for his kind than Kevin. I remember getting into this channel 4 years ago in the pandemic due to Kevin. You gave him a good life, Chandler. We'll all miss him.
That’s the same way I found them although I was searching up snakes
Thanks for making a grown man choke up Chandler. I’m sorry for your loss. Kevin was amazing. You two had a bond unmatched.
I have watched you off and on over the last 5+ years and have always admired your passion for your animals. You truly had such a special relationship with Kevin and he was very lucky to have you as a caregiver. Keep up the good work and love you have for your animals. I will remember Kevin.
I’m so sorry for your loss, Kevin is what drew me to your channel because of a random intense desire to learn about snakes. I’m so glad I landed here and got to watch you with him for a time.
I’m sure you’ve already gotten it figured out but Exotic Pet Vet has some really cool videos of her beetle colony helping to preserve snake skeletons so maybe you could do something along those lines. Sending love your way, man.
I really didn't want to click on this cause I knew it was real. You'd never joke about this. Feels like a punch in thr gut. I can only imagine how you must feel as Kevin's papa. RIP, you beautiful regal creature. Kevin had such a fascinating ambassador for his species.
I'm a silent subscriber, but I started watching you becuz of Kevin 4 or 5 yrs ago, and every time you posted, I looked forward to seeing Kevin and all the animals. You gave him a good life and he was well loved. Thank you for sharing Kevin with us ❤ Kevin you will be missed have fun over the rainbow bridge buddy

R.I.P Kevin 🙏 I'm from Malaysia, didn't know msia king cobra is such a smart beautiful beast until I saw him on your channel. Fell in love with him right away... my condolences, Chandler 😢 🙏
He was the reason I started watching your videos.❤ He will definitely be missed.
My dog of 16 years passed one month ago. He started breaking down around mid February. The trooper that he was, he was in good spirits untill the final week. He was in bed with me, when his final moments came to be. So I picked him up. Instead of showing pain, he gave me his usual happy face. He passed with me hugging him. His cremated remains will remain with me forever. And he will be with me when I'm cremated. Chikitin march 2008 to may 24, 2024. I feel your pain.
So sorry for your loss! I'm so glad he got to pass with you. What a blessing. ❤
Now you have a special guardian angel!
@@saga2964 Thank you and God Bless.
I am so sorry for your loss, too. If you have an open mind and a spiritual side, the vids of Brent Atwater may be of assistance. She knows of what she speaks - my guy (a beautiful black chow-chow mix, the love of my life), gave me MANY "after-death" and pre-death signs that she spoke of.
I hope that she can help you - and others, too. Kevin's eyes look like his consciousness is still around him. We who love animals, are the lucky ones. We grieve because we LOVE (and a dog's love is UNCONDITIONAL - far more so, than a human's.)
Wishing/ sending you solace...

You did more than you think chandler. You gave him a perfect home. A perfect handler. Kevin couldn’t have lived a better life.
Kevin is the reason I started watching. I will keep watching Chandler because of his energy, enthusiasm and dedication to his passion. Kevin is a testament to all of that. Much love Chandler and keep going pal we’re all behind you mourning this loss.
We have been watching your videos of Kevin for FOREVER!!! We love him SO MUCH! We were even planning a trip to come see him. We have learned so much about King Cobras and about reptiles in general from your informational videos and have watched your dream grow and grow. I just cried watching this video. I know how much you loved him. I am so sorry for your loss. ❤
Almost my entire life, that’s 80 years I disliked snakes until Kevin changed me. He’s the reason I first started watching your channel. I’ve told everyone about Kevin. I have some great pictures of him and you that I have shown to all my friends and family. And I came to love 💗 Kevin. I could actually see him thinking and he made me realize how intelligent he was. I know that you always said he wasn’t a pet but it was easy to see that you loved him and I think he had some kind of an understanding about you and maybe I’m wrong.Kevin has passed over the rainbow bridge to snake heaven. He’s probably the most loved snake ever. He will surely be missed by me and thousands upon thousands of other people.
Words taken out of my mouth! Kevin touched all of our hearts!
Well said.
Omg, I can imagine how much your heart is breaking today.
RIP King Kevin.

The bond and trust between you and Kevin was absolutely 💯 amazing ❤😭 I've been watching for a very long time, the first video I saw was you Soaking Kevin to get rid of his shed
The bond you had with Kevin was beautiful to see in that montage. He was so calm when y’all interacted.

Losing an animal is devastating. I'm not a regular watcher of yours, but I offer my sincerest condolences. I remember every snake, lizard, dog, cat, rat and ferret I've ever lost.
Of course you remember them. You love them.
Me too. And they are quite numerous.
Noooo Kevin. He was a absolute unit and will be missed. I reckon he lived his best life.
I hope you are holding up well Chandler, my first videos was with you working with Kevin and I could see how much he means to you. Keep strong dude
I've been watching your channel for 5 years and remember the early videos with him.
living his best life in captivity?! these animals are meant to live in jungles not boxes. exotic animals shouldnt be held in captivity unless for breeding programs of endangered species.
@aaronrandolph261 shut up, he was an educational ambassador for his species and helped thousands of people understand the species better which helps them more than just throwing them back into the bushes
@@ProfessionalLoser95 or he is part of chandlers crusade to monetize exotic wildlife. otherwise i have to think he is an animal hoarder which has its own obvious issues. if someone wants to understand the species google can help and even better you can visit a country these snakes live in and see them in the wild. zoos are a bad look in these modern times
@@aaronrandolph261you sound so stupid you really do
I’ve been watching your channel for 8 years
I’m so sorry for your loss. You gave him such a happy, safe life with you. Your videos with Kevin helped me with my fear of snakes. I’ve shed a little tear for you both. I bet he’s happily slithering across that rainbow bridge. RIP Kevin ❤
So sorry for your loss Chandler. Kevin couldn't have been more loved and he had the best snake dad possible. We all know that you did everything to give him the best care. Hope your broken heart heals soon.

My heart dropped when I saw this notification, the relationship you had with Kevin was so beautiful and the look of trust in his eyes for you was so amazing. He really did show that creatures like him are not monsters or trying to kill just because. I just wished that Kevin’s genetic line could live on. R.I.P Kevin, you were a very loved and famous snake, touching many peoples lives
This is very sad, I've been following your journey since the beginning, and Kevin has been one of my favorite animals of yours. This is a hard loss for this community and I know it's hard for you. But you are such a fun and great handler. Thanks for sharing Kevin's journey with us.

Kevin changed my life. Literally. I used to be terrified of snakes. I was one of the people who would kill snakes if i saw them. I’m so sorry. I lost my medical service dog a few months ago. I had him for 14 years. I feel your pain. Love and prayers from Kentucky.
God, I’m so sorry for your loss. 😢 I lost my first medical alert service dog when I was 15 and I never really got over it. I only had her for 7 years, but I miss her every day even still, 20 years on. As horrible it sounds, I can say I’ve grieved longer and harder for Buddy than I have for most of the closest people I’ve lost in my life. Maybe that makes me a shitty person. But our animals are so innocent and their love is so unconditional. Especially the love and loyalty of a service dog. It’s irreplaceable. For that reason, I have really struggled to consider getting another one because they can’t live forever and it hurt me so much when Buddy passed. I’ve had lots of pet dogs and cats since she passed and I have loved them all so dearly, but none of them had quite the bond that Buddy and I shared because she wasn’t just a pet, but my protector, my guardian, my assistant, my lifeline. But as I’ve gotten older, I’ve realized that I need one now more than ever to help manage my ever worsening symptoms. It has been so much more difficult to manage without the help of a medical alert dog and has led to me suffering injuries and embarrassing moments in public. And since I work with dogs professionally anyway and have the capability and resources to train my own, I’ve been looking into breeders and preparing to get a puppy and hopefully train a new service dog.
So, I understand your pain and I know right now it feels like you could never love another animal again like you loved your dog, and while that may be true, you will find a different kind of love and loyalty again that is just as meaningful. Even though you can never replace your beloved animal, you can learn to love another one just as much, but in a different way. I’m so sorry again for your loss. I am wishing you all the best and I hope you are able to cope better than I did. Don’t wait as long as I did to prioritize your health and well-being. It’s what your dog would want for you. And besides, your pup will always be with you in spirit and never truly be gone as long as you love and remember them. Lots of love and healing to you. ❤
Chandler, also because of u I just got my very first snake.
Rest easy, Kevin. I found you 2 5 years ago, and it was a feeding video, and because of Kevin, I found my love to learn animal's and find ways to donate to charity to protect them. We love you Kevin❤🐍👑
I remember first checking out your channel a few months ago with my buddy. We both hated snakes but this channel turned us around and Kevin was our favorite. That really sucks man, I'm sorry for your loss.
