The alloy blue takes me back, especially with the acorns. Good job. Literally took me back in memories of being in the bike shop (Early eighties and seventies) drooling.

That rim set is exactly what I want to do with my Monza 26! Nice job!

If you add some chain tensioners the acorn nuts fit on the rear axel perfectly. Beautiful build.

The monza customs you did are super sweet. I plan to get one but am torn between the 24 and 26. I am leaning towards the 26 but I'm afraid it'll feel to much like a beach cruiser. How did they compare when you rode them both? thanks

I prefer the 26”. Both are really rad!

Very nice build. Would you recommend this bike for a 6ft person? I know I definitely don't like BMXing with the 26".

Beautiful build! And the wheel/tire combo is perfect! I bought one of these a few years ago. Wish I would have waited for the upgraded stem. Mine is still the 1" quill stem. But still RAD!

Hi there, I've been burning through a lot of your videos. Were there any marks and such left behind after the front brake lever that Monza now includes was removed? Hoping they don't crank this down extra tight.

@@RadBMXBuilds Fun Fact: I lived next door to Jeff Cotter in Lakewood. Eddie would frequent Jeff's quarter ramp that he had outside. My neighborhood was filled with BMX riders in the 80s. ;)

I’ll admit that I’ve looked on Dia Compe’s site and not see those parts., I guess your not feeling the Dia Comp hinged seat clamp..?

Use tensioners on rear ( it needs them anyways) then nice axle washers front and rear ditching them crappy safety washers and both axles would have looked proper, eliminating need for stacked rear axle nuts. Coming from the custom motorcycle industry myself I cringe every time someone lays chrome against chrome......its just not how you do it. You also need to invest in quality torque wrench....them crank arms have a tq spec.

That's the sexiest bike I ever seen excellent chrome to blue and black. To bad to spend that type of money for it only to pretty much strip it to pay for more parts all over again.
