      How was the explanation... was it easy enough to follow along? My goal is that even if someone doesn't use Filmora, they could go, "Oh hey, I can totally do that in my editing software"

    • @TravestyLive
      @TravestyLive 6 ปีที่แล้ว

      It's nice that Fimlora renders on-the-fly.
      One drawback of Camtasia for me is that it stutters between clips during editing. It makes it difficult to get a true feel for transitions, etc.
      This may be a symptom of having a laptop which might not be optimal for video editing. I believe that you mentioned Filmora has a performance advantage with slower computers

    • @TravestyLive
      @TravestyLive 6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I'm an IT guy, so take this for what it's worth. I'm not a software engineer, but I have a decent understanding of computer and software usage.
      I absorbed the idea of the pan-and-zoom immediately and was able to decide exactly how I would be able to do the same thing in my software

    • @Daniel_Batal
      @Daniel_Batal  6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    • @Daniel_Batal

      Flip your footage upside down, apply the transition, bounce that piece of footage and turn it back right side up. The transition will be going the other way

      It's one of my favorite moves. It almost gives the feeling of something opening up or being unveiled so it can do a lot for the first few seconds of a video where we know a lot of viewers are deciding whether to continue watching or click away.

    I had filmora 8 on my Old Surface Pro. On a recently upgraded Surface pro I only had my power Director 16 loaded. Watched your vids and remembered the filmora 8 I purchased last year. Guess what happened when I downloaded it to my new Surface Pro? Wondershare downloaded version 9 AND my old product key for the 8 unlocked the 9! I always found Filmora was easier to use than Power Director Pro...hope this new 9 version is just as easy. Dude! Great videos and thanks for the motivation to make more of my own content...was this close to pulling the plug. Thanks!
