Woah, this was too cool, I didn't know it had that capability! Went right to my laptop and did a quick screen recording to try it out! Thanks Daniel!!! 👍
I use both but desktop is much better than laptop because you can build or purchase a much more powerful desktop at less cost than a laptop. The trick is making sure whatever you use exceeds the minimum system specs: filmora.wondershare.com/tech-spec.html

I did a screen recording of a video on my pc with Filmora 9 and accidentally left the microphone on as well as the system audio. Is there a way I can mute the microphone recording to clean up the sound now that the recording is over (not sure if I can separate the two tracks)? I figured you are the one who knows the answer to this question! Love your channel. Thanks!
Hi Daniel, I really appreciate your teaching skills and style and the fact that you take time to answer questions. Is the screen capture included in filmora pro, or is it a separate product? If it is in pro, where do I access it?
Yup! When you choose to record the screen, in the dialog box that opens... at the very bottom there is a box you can check that says "Record the Camera stream". I think the wording is slightly different in Filmora Version 8 and Version 9 but both do the same thing. (V9 you have to click the gear icon to expand the window and see the additional options). Tick that box and you can record screen and webcam simultaneously.
@@Daniel_Batal Thanks awesome. Do you know if there is a way that the screen recording and the web camera are recording separately as two different video files? So you can go to full screen with the webcam then to no webcam at all.
Daniel - You are a great teacher! Thanks. Can you please give us a few voiceover tips - do's and don'ts? I want to start using it to make my video's look like documentaries? Thanks so much
Daniel @0;27, @ 2:20 Which function did you click to zoom in the whole screen? I wanted to zoom the tools buttons on my DAW to explain while i am on the screen shot. Can we add text at zooming area?
@@Daniel_Batal Thanks for the link.I did watch not only that I will have to watch more. You &Your tutorials have opened my eyes. Back to my earlier query again. I meant not the close ups of the image/video that your are working on. I wanted to know how did you zoom in close ups to the Drop Down Menu as I need to present zoom in close up shots of TOOLS DROP DOWN Menus from my DAW and Guitar Rig . Can you tell me how to get close up shots, arrow(marks) and text just like @0;27, @ 2:20 , in this Vid post.If you post this whole video with Filmora that is good to know. I thought you did use two cameras or Zoomit software for screen close up shot (Not the work canvas or work station).. How did you add the arrow and text?Cheer
Found out for arrow(marks) and text at Daniel Batal Channel ,Published on Aug 23, 2018 Filmora Tutorial - Windows Beginner's Guide. But not yet the zoom in close ups to the Drop Down Menu . Cheers
Had not seen this video. I actually purchased a screen recorder from Filmora not realizing that you could record the screen via Filmora 9 etc. Wish I had stumbled onto your site sooner. Dan your the Filmora Sensei. Hope your working on more Filmora Pro tutorials :)
I am! I'll be doing more on each version of Filmora but learning more towards PRO and v9. If I need any screen-captured footage, I'll call you. Apparently you are more than equipped :D
Perfect for gaming. In the Filmora 9 version you can also record your webcam at the same time and control where you want it and how big you want the webcam overlay to be.
Hey Daniel I know this video is old but I actually had some trouble with something I can't figure out how to use the more screen recorder on a certain tab I want to be able to open up a game window and then be able to do a screen record but it won't let me it'll when I click f9 to start recording it will just do it on my Google tab do you know how to prevent this?
Make sure you have the latest version of Filmora9 installed (version 9.6) F9 stops recording, not starts it. You start the recorder by clicing the red record button on the recorder control panel. By default, the screen recorder shrinks your current Filmora window so just make sure you have your browswer (or game window) maximized so that you're viewing it. The screen recorder will give you a count-down (3.... 2.... 1...) and then the control panel will remove itself from the field of view and begin recording whatever you see on your screen. You can also change the resolution and frame rate of the capture by clicking the gear icon of the recorder control panel before you hit the "record" button. Once again...remember to hit F9 on your keyboard to stop it and Filmora will automatically drop that capture into your project.
Thank you, my man. I appreciate you always taking the time to swing on by. Not exactly sure how you have the time any more with your upload schedule. This better not be cutting into your poodle time.

You're the perfect candidate. I mean, I don't want to insult Movie Maker but seriously, can you start using any editor that still exists? I'm begging you
No. But it's like $60 for a lifetime license and if you keep your eye out, they run specials. Black Friday is coming up, I'll bet there will be something even cheaper in the upcoming months.
When I am using smoothdraw with black screen for teaching and recording with filmora screen recorder the cursor is not showing after exporting or completion preview of the video..pls help
In the Screen Recorder window that pops up before you start recording, go into the expanded settings and you’ll see options for recording your cursor while it’s on screen and any associated sounds. You should be able to activate there if it’s recognized

Enable the camera from within your computer settings. If your computer recognizes it, Filmora should too and it will be in the Filmora Video Device dialog box once you click "Record From Webcam"
