    • @Daniel_Batal
      @Daniel_Batal  5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Unfortunately you have to meet the minimum system requirements for any video editing software or it will always Lag... no matter which software you use.
      That sucks.
      I know.

    Great vid as always daniel! quick question do you think an optical flow option like in fcpx will be updated in filmora 9 soon? any recommendations or suggestions on making the slow mo look buttery smooth on filmora 9? i know it all depends on your fps but thought i would ask you!

    • @Daniel_Batal
      @Daniel_Batal  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      I actually tackled that question in my latest FIlmora Live stream. FPS and bitrate is everything when it comes to slo-mo. The higher you film and keep those in post, the cleaner your footage looks when you throw the brakes on it.
      Try to get lots of light on whatever you are slowing down when you film it. If the ISO is kind of grainy to begin with, it only looks worse when it gets slowed down.

      This is Filmora 9. It doesn't really lag on my computer but i have a fairly higher-end custom 4k editing PC. Filmora has had some lag issues that they are addressing.
      I did make a video on how to potentially cure some of the lag for people who have run into it. For some people, it totally cured it: th-cam.com/video/gR1pvmXXpsk/w-d-xo.html

    hey man, great tutorial. im actually doing my own eye zoom transition right now, but i have a question... as soon as i press play, everything is super pixelated. im only using still images, other than the zoom and dissolve effects. ive got the same picture of the woman, but a different cat image. everything looks clear until i hit play. then it becomes pixelated. if you have any suggestions, please let me know.

    • @Daniel_Batal
      @Daniel_Batal  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Two things:
      Underneath the preview window it defaults to half resolution playback, set it it full.
      Turn off the proxy files: File > Preferences > Performance
      Neither of these things will affect your export if left as is. That’s just Filmora easing the burden by not trying to use full res files while editing.
      Changing these settings will look better during edit but make your computer work harder

    umm sir, i want to ask but i don't know what the name of the problem, so i will use some example here, i use filmora 9. so in filmora 8 if we have 1 original clip duration 10 sec and i want to split that clip into 2 (clip A and B) with duration 5 sec each and if i want clip A become 8 sec, in filmora 8 we can just use custom speed and change the 5 sec to 8 sec it will automatically slow down clip A and make it become 8 sec, but in filmora 9 when i click that custom speed the duration in clip A not 5 sec but 10 sec like the original clip. is that because wrong in my setting? thanks

    • @Daniel_Batal
      @Daniel_Batal  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      The speed setting in Fillmore nine is based on percentages. “1.0” is considered full speed or in other words 1x.
      So, if you wanted it to play twice as fast, you would type “2” into the duration (as in, 2x as fast)
      If you wanted to play half as fast, you would type in “0.5” (half as fast)

    Hello Daniel,I have a strange issue with the Filmora9,I have to edit a clip wich in windows has 12 minutes lenght but in filmora is only 5:23 minutes,what I have done wrong? Did i screwed something? Thank you and keep up with these kind of tutorials. Regards Marius.

    • @Daniel_Batal
      @Daniel_Batal  5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      hmmmm.... really hard to say what's happening with just that limited information. I would suggest making sure you're bringing in the right clip (sometimes more than one have similar names). Also, make sure you didn't have a previous clip of the same name and Filmora is just referencing a different proxy file (because it thinks it's something else)
      The way to solve that would be open up Filmora, click on FILE > Preferences > Performance > and then click the "Clean" button under "Automatically delete proxies...".
      That will clear the memory in case Filmora is confusing two different clips.

    Hey Daniel, a tutorial idea. Premiere has a feature called Corner Pin, where you can grab an image, and morph it instead of the simple stretching that is easy to do in Filmora. Would you know of a way of doing this, like for example there is a picture and there is a TV in it at an angle, to put an video in that TV to make it look like it was coming out of the TV?

    • @Daniel_Batal
      @Daniel_Batal  5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Nope. Well, as far as I have seen (I don't think the new updates have it either).
      It's one I've been asking about. So far, Filmora only seems to let you use very flat, 2 dimensional shapes like rectangles and square. You can't rotate footage on it's axis, stretch or skew it.
      If I find out I'm wrong, I'll be the first to let you know

    • @ThisBytesForYou
      @ThisBytesForYou 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@Daniel_Batal you can rotate film (360° and even flip it, just like you do with a picture) and stretch it, but its all tied together. I wonder if anything if they are keeping that as a Filmora Pro features, though I don't know anything about Pro. I was hoping with the new update, 9.1.4.12 which just came out today (or maybe yesterday) would add that, but to no avail. Paying for effects and such, would you know if perhaps that would add that feature? If so, I would pay.
