Pretty awesome trails, vistas, and scenery! Beautiful area and lots of wildlife sightings too. Awesome to see the bear and have the close up with the bucks. Super cool. Take care and have a wonderful day.
Ah, gotta love the Olympics! 🩵🩵 I haven’t been out there much the past few years, haven’t heard much about this loop, totally amazing! You had perfect weather too. Loved the wildflowers. We’ve done some backpacking there- I’m going to check out this trail… cute bear and deer! 😄👌👍👍
Thank you!! Absolutely check it out! Right up your alley! Ended up seeing 3 bears, so many marmots, and deer. Owls and other birds too, and very isolated (minimal peeps) when we were there.
This is some seriously beautiful footage. The water is so clear, the sky is so blue, the trees are so tall, and the views are so amazing. Very nicely done. 👍
Thank you so much that is too kind! The nature does it all and we really appreciate you stopping by to check out the hike and comment! 💜❤️ have a wonderful adventurous weekend!
Awesome video! Beautiful area! 2 years ago my dad and I hiked from obstruction point up grand valley and then to grand pass. We camped for a night at grand lake then hiked back up to obstruction point through the valley. Amazing hike felt like I was in Switzerland! Must have seen like 20 waterfalls and 50 deer. Love the video! Keep hiking!
What a great loop. This has become my backup plan for sure. What is the closest camp to the halfway mark? Looks like it would be close to the Grey Wolf Pass. Can you obtain a walk-up permit? Great video!
Will check on this info for you! My other half has the permit knowledge ❤️❤️ Thank you for watching we truly appreciate it. Hope you have a wonderful weekend
The camp options for the half way mark are along the Dosewallips River. Deception Creek, Bear Camp and Dose Meadows. We stayed at Dose Meadows and recommend it, though there are only a few spots there. Bear camp was busier in comparison and wouldn't be our choice for solitude. Deception Creek is the only site of the three we did not see. Backcountry sites can be obtained as walk up permits with the ranger (as available), but you can reserve in advance (April) and that is what we did. Let us know if any other questions!
Thank you so much for checking it out! We appreciate that. Started at deer park and ended at deer park! About 43 mile loop! 💜💜 hope this helps.. here if you have any questions!
@andrewduncan7643 fantastic weather and apparently it was warmer then usual for the local area, giving us highs in the lower 60s! Mid July! ❤️❤️ permits for campsites were required.

@@HolisticHikes Awesome! Thank you.
@@HolisticHikesBear Camp does have a great campsite across the river that no one realizes exists.
Very nice. When did you do this? Did you start and finish at Hurricane Ridge? Looks like something I need to do. 🤩

@@HolisticHikes That was my next guess after looking at a map. Which week was this? You had a great weather window.
