Enjoy the symphony of nature in one of the most acoustically diverse wilderness areas of the country as we follow the wilderness cry from the alpine region of the Olympic Mountains down through the canopies of the old growth forests and temperate rainforest into the raging waters of the wilderness Pacific coast. With 95% of its land designated as wilderness, Olympic National Park protects a unique and endangered resource: natural sound.

This channel is an undiscovered gem on TH-cam. Looks like no new videos from here on out, but those that are here are worthy of many repeat viewings. Just stunning.
In my 80 odd years I've seen the night horizon go from black to blaze and the acoustics of nature dim on the island I grew up on. The Olympics were always in the distance and I'm happy we have preserved them.

Very well done! One of my favorite places in the world, from the glaciers of Mt. Olympus and the Bailey Range, to Hurricane Ridge and the rain forests to the Pacific Ocean beaches. It has it all!

My home state. Hometown=Shelton, WA; know this beauty very well.
The God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob is the one who created such beauty. He gave us voices to sing with and feet to dance so why not the rocks, the waters, the animals and the trees. God is so good.
