Hi Craig .My name is Vicki and can I just say thank you foot is great video the first one of your videos that I have seen and I was amazed. Have you seen the rock carvings down at Berowra Waters?. I have also seen the amazing hydro glyphs at Gosford after watching a video on the translation by an Egyptian specialist in ancient Egyptian text and translated it with the story of there were several ships that we're turned overboard and many died some of which were Royalty it wasn't the first time that they have come to Australia to seek spiritual advice by my people and this is why the a Didgeridoo and some Boomerangs are found in Ancient Egyptian artifacts. Great video I'm keen to watch your other videos keep up the great work Craig. Thanks
Aboriginal men did wear belts when they went through a ceromony at the Boora grounds. It's a belt made of hair and has been a traditional Aboriginal custom for reaching manhood for centuries. One Boora ground was at Ourimbah near where the University of Newcastle building is now. All traces of the Boora grounds were wiped out.
What do you call a boomerang that doesn't come Back? A stick. The so called boomerangs are in fact throwing sticks and were used by many nations people's but only one had the aerodynamic qualities to be thrown and return to the thrower and that would be the Australian Boomerang. The rest are one way trip sticks designed to bring down their lunch, but the sticks never came back to the person who threw them.
