    At time 18:20, is it a six fingers hand which is depicted in the petroglyph? Do we have any ancient mythologies or legends related to polydactyly among the native American Indians in this area?

    Awesome video! Thank you! What an amazing site. It's one thing to see the holes used for grinding, but absolutely remarkable to find the rocks used for grinding still present. I have been to Sedona countless times, but I have never heard of Red Tank. I must try to visit when I travel to the area again this coming spring. So fascinating and a beautiful site as well.

I’m grateful for your wise, expert, eloquent narration and fine production values. The spirit of your adventure is a real gift! I was amazed by the Mexico connections you uncovered and your interaction with the worshipers. Thanks and safe travels!

      Calvin Crowe yes almost all are also from the same or around the same time period. the more I research on these and others, it is looking like they were depicting a large plasma discharge event from the sun that took place. I found a link showing the different shapes that plasma makes and they matched it to how hieroglyphs and petroglyphs discharged.. It was very interesting to say the least. what were they really trying to show others in these drawings ??

    I've been to Red Tank Draw several times. One thing that you missed was what I call the "Planetarium" It's located directly above what you refer to as the "Out Door Kitchen" @ 4:40. In this pictograph you will see the super nova of AD 1066 recorded.I have some great pictures of my daughter Hannah under the slant rock @ 6:49 & the kitchen @ 4:40.At 7:40 you show the main panel, represented here are "Pregnant Females" #1 & #3 from left.To further clarify, the cross symbol with a line surrounding is a representation of the planet Venus. This was to denote early march / or breeding time. Marked directly above #3 @ 7:34Another you missed is down stream about 200 yards, you have to go between two large boulders with some interesting two & three feather chief petroglyphs before you enter the gap.On the other end you will then find what we call the "Big Kitty" petroglyph. This depicts a saber toothed looking large cat approximately 3 feet wide & 1.5 feet high with large claws.The spiral is a representation of a Journey relating to time as well. Used allot in Solstice markers.Most of the lower petroglyphs are worn due to cattle farming in the early 20th century.I highly recommend "V bar V Ranch" as another great site to go to. located 1 mile from here.Down the road from V-V about 1/4 mile on the left is "Sacred Mountain".Which features one of the few "Ball Courts" I.ve ever found in North America and lots of ruins on top.Enjoy; Joe

      Very well acquainted with the super nova of 1066 theory, believed it myself for thirty years, but now I believe a much more ancient event of our own sun about 10,500 BC is a more likely explanation. Check out the data on the Suspicious Observers channel please.

      If that's true then they recorded it in missouri to, I have a bluff behind my house with the same encircled cross painted on it along with a few sun images (which one could be the explosion you were taking about) and it has a dog headed creature and a man with a spear hunting with his dogs, we were told it was made by the mississippians around 1000 AD, made a video on my channel if you would like to take a look and let me know whatcha think

  • @nibiruresearch
    @nibiruresearch 3 ปีที่แล้ว +3

    Thank you again Alex. In this movie you show the link between the spiral and the square cross. The spiral is anti-clockwise. That you can find the same symbols in Mexico is logical, because the Hopi people claim that they are the ancestors of the Maya!. You can read that in the e-book "The history of the Hopi from their origin in Lemuria." The square cross is also depicted on cilynder seals from Sumer or Mesopotamia and on many other places in the world. The spiral and the cross are refering to a heavenly body that causes disasters on our planet every few thousand years. The flood is the best known effect. To learn much more about the cycle of recurring floods, the recreation of civilizations and its timeline and ancient high technology, read the eBook: "Planet 9 = Nibiru". You can read it nicely on any computer, tablet or smartphone. Search: invisible nibiru 9

    @stories by alex,hi i realise this is an old video with much older glyphs. I used to think that these were like notice boards like in the town center we see today. I then saw the same shapes and animals etc on other continents. What i realised was these were special times of the year in the night sky. In the west i saw tall humanoids, one often looked like he was breakdancing with arms flailing ,one with triangular torso often with a duck or hand growing from his head. I realised these were the zodiacs seen at spring, summer timelooking east from where the sites were, and looking at virgo(breakdancer)tall triangular man with headress (libra)sometimes a three legged man or maybe the copulating animals you found possably scorpio, below or above scorpio we usually see a long canoe or boat with 8 people. On the other side of the world we see the same looking east at early spring in the east we see a bull, a man with soneone kneeling then a spiral. This eas the begining of spring in egypt and the taurus, orion, the spiral would be sirius or isis. The animals seen in the iconography are that regions wild!ife at that time of year. Also we sometimes see repetition of the scene which could of been showing the first time of seeing these in the year then one moon later seeing the stars have moved slightly, mich the way as american tribes may trace the outlinr of a cliff shadow or a big tree shadow and keep coming back and trace the sane shadow outlines showing that the earth or sun did move a measurable disrance over a short period. They were creating callenders as to what to expect as the shadow moves,,eg trees wont fruit for 2 more months, rains are due stay out of flood zones etc. The mesopotamians were doing this thousands of years ago but universities and museums are blind to it. Anyway hope this was helpfull to your investigation, take care my freind👍😊

    Hello again I caught couple of things in your video you might not have noticed and I barely caught it the scene panned over fast and too close there is a coyote clan. One of the parts of the migration stories my grandfather and dad told me is of 16 yrs of drought in that time there was some cannibalizing. Kachinas haven't came yet. Keep in mind the 4 sacred mountains Mt. Hesperus, Mt. Taylor, Mt. Blanca and San Francisco Peaks are the 4 sacred mountains and that SF Peaks is the home of the Kachinas and Yeiibicheii when the time came to for the tribes that converged back among each other after making it back from the migration back to within the 4 sacred mountains at Mesa Verde and continue on with the last part of the Hopis migration my grandfathers clan had an old one who told them to leave him there he said go on I do not want to slow down or endanger you all one day come back to visit after finishing the migration to Old Oraibi I will leave a sign for you when you return That is the Spruce tree at Spruce tree house it is the reason why the wreath around the kachinas neck is only ever made from spruce. My grandfather showed me some petroglyphs of sperm cells fertilizing egg cells I was amazed how they knew what microscopic things looked like way before the microscope. Great videos btw I might need to take me trip to where you made this video thank you very much

      Hello Craig, I have viewed various Australian aboriginal art and am contemplating on trekking in Australia in the near future to further study and observe them. One of the things that I have noticed in much of the rock art and symbols from various cultures is that there are indeed several similarities between cultures that did not have contact with each other. For example, the spiral symbol is found in rock art in all continents except Antarctica. Often themes are similiar such as every day life portrayals, migration scenes, cosmic occurrences, and etc....................................alex

  • @kenmcclellan

    Interesting the four spirals together. We can see the same in prehistoric Malta, Roman France, paleolithic Orkney Islands, etc. I believe the Cross illustrates the same thing. It's a fairly universal idea of four periods of history per Precession. It was called the Ram cycle or the Yuga. And the 4th re-do of the Earth is honestly upon us -- either on the summer solstice or the autumnal equinox.
    The secret, I believe, is at 17:23. The dance of Orion (left) and the illumination of Sirius (right) is occasioned by an arrival of the Lamb (the 1st of Aries). The 1st of Aries can be viewed two ways ... as a time (sun annually arriving vernal equinox) or as a place (a once-per-6,536-year alignment of the equinoxes and solstices with the cusps of Pisces-Aquarius, Sagittarius-Scorpio, Virgo-Leo and Gemini-Taurus.

    I may not know ancient cultures, but I do understand art a bit. If you look at the pictograph it appears to be a night scene with the spirals as celestial bodies and perhaps the cross is a significant star. Van Gogh used the spiral in "Starry Night". And on occasion other artists have used the spiral for celestial depictions. Perhaps there was a great spiritual aspect to the spiral and cross., eh?

      The bottom line is that I think you are really on to something here. The lack of erosion on the sites suggests recent culture where as other sites may be ancient. Why the contrast? The Spanish Holocaust let loose upon The America's that deliberately murdered folk and destroyed their common knowledge? If the Spanish had stayed at home we would know so much more.

    • @storiesbyalex
      @storiesbyalex  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hello greenspiraldragon, thanks for watching. My understanding is the term "tanks" often denotes depressions scoured out by rushing water during the rainy season which create waterholes during the dry season...........alex

      @storiesbyalex  8 ปีที่แล้ว

      +Derrick Lytle Before I visit a site I do a lot of internet research and Google Earth map reviews, keep notes and a xerox copy of the map. Anyway, I found a web site that has good directions which has a Google Earth map link. Zoom in and out to familiarize yourself with the overall view of the area, roads, and directions. This should get you there. Here is the link and let me know if all went well.
      Red Tank Draw Link: ( zschierlphotography.com/2011/01/18/red-tank-draw-petroglyphs/ )
      Also, If you have the time try to visit the V Bar V Ranch site.

      Take a photographs of each individual and partial pictograph and then process the images via dStretch, which can often bring out washed out images that cannot be seen with the eye. If you do not have dStretch you can download the App from the App store. I think the App costs $20.00 Or, you can email them to me and I will process them with my program. My email is alex@storiesbyalex.com. My regards...........................alex

    These are the ancestors of the zuni pueblo people in new Mexico the cross symbols are the morning and evening stars the two warrior brothers who helped guide our people.these spirals are the thousands of years we spent looking for our present day location.these same symbols can be found in the Grand canyon our original place of emergence into this world.we had a second group split off and went down south to central america.i believe they left these symbols behind as well

    What does the spiral mean?

    • @storiesbyalex
      @storiesbyalex  7 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Kyle, the Spiral is found in many places in the world and among differing cultures. My observation is that there is no one universal meaning and each culture/group/tribe ascribed their own meaning to the symbol. The greater question is why do all these unconnected cultures or groups of people produce the same symbol?

    No one takes rubbings no more? As everyone has smartphones now with cameras. And probably an actual camera hiking that far to look at petroglyphs. Besides what's the evidence to it being from a rubbing? None of the others seems to be harmed. And would mean that is just part of the original art.

  • @JoeDeglman

    Petroglyphs explained. The symbols are the same because most everyone one on the Earth at the time could see these images in the sky.
    th-cam.com/video/6meaU1QcSdA/w-d-xo.html
    Most of them are drawn on objects that were made by massive electrical discharges from the sky.
