I have accordingly claimed but accounts officer does not pass it stating that concurrent is used as judiciary word and permissible amount is only 81000/- How can I get it pass the bill, kindly suggest.
Which department sir. It’s clear entitlement. You have to get both. CEA is meant for reimbursement of education expenditure and Hostel subsidy is for expenditure towards hostel/ accommodation/food expenses. Earlier it was not given , so, Rule has been amended . Accounts personnel have to rethink. Otherwise, you may have to appeal to next higher authority. And then ..... you know next course of action 😊

Good morning sir, iam central government employee and my children has been studying in 8th class , due to corona period his hostel is opened in September instead of June how much hostel subsidy i will get either 81000 or 6750*6 ie from September to march and how can I claim the bill either for fy or for monthly basis from September month .
You haven’t mentioned the actual expenditure made during the year. The expenditure on boarding and lodging OR the ceiling of ₹6750 per month, whichever is lower, shall be paid to the employee as Hostel subsidy. So, you may claim for total expenditure, they ( Accounts people )will restrict as per rule. Mostly these days hostel expenditure is beyond ₹81,000 I guess.

This will be even useful for claiming medical expenses, if any, also in future. 2. If the baby is studying, you can apply for double the normal rate of CEA also based on the certificate given by medical authorities. Take care Niranjan ji.

Doctor certificate of sterilisation with previous date should be there. Later doctor certifies about failure as well
