That’s my favorite AC/DC song of all time. Fun memory, when we got back from Iraq they played this song while we marched across the parade field to meet the families that were waiting. We stood behind the buses we’d rode there on during the buildup and the moved the buses right before the “you’ve been thunderstruck!”.

This is the most used song in Hollywood while also being the most expensive. It costs half a million U.S. dollars to license and has been used in movies for decades. Most songs can be licensed for 5 or 6 thousand. Thunderstruck is the most used, and most expensive song Hollywood has ever put to film. And they keep using it.
So Glad you are coming to this by the way of Black Pegasus. I am a white dude child of the eighties MTV and especially hair rock bands, I watch a lot of younger reactors discovering how musically talented and adept a lot of the rock bands actually were and they are always so surprised. It was funny because 8 years ago, I thought I was the only 54-year-old who was bopping around to Bowie and Queen and AC/DC in addition to salsa. Then of course the slow songs. I did a HIIT playlist.
Great reaction! You mentioned that you wanted that opening riff to come back. Funny but true story. There is a TH-cam video by AC/DC engineer Canadian (I’m Canadian, lol) Mike Frazier in where he says that they were in the studio working on this album. Fellow Canadian producer, the late Bruce Fairbairn said to Angus (lead guitar)that they needed something to kick off this song. Angus said he had something that he’d been working on and Bruce said let’s hear it. According to Frazier, Angus lit a cigarette and they started the tape and Angus started the intro. But, he kept playing and Fairbairn told Frazier to keep recording. Angus played that into the entire song in one take! Frazier went on to explain that they left it in the entire song that he recorded in again one take. He says that they just dialled it back in certain parts of the song, but it’s always there if you listen carefully! It’s not there live though-out the song as AC/DC never use taped musical parts during their live shows! Again, loved the reaction! Cheers from Canada! P.S. I met AC/DC way back in 1985 in Toronto and they are some of the nicest and funny guys you could meet. Very humble too!

Thunderstruck can come from rare encounters as well. Picture it... 1977. I'm the only one awake. Early morning camping deep in the Canadian Rockies, bending over the fire to put the coffee pot on. Stand up, turn around, 15 feet away, leaning on the opposite side of a picnic table, a huge male Grizzly, looking right at me. Believe me, it's a whole new sort of thunderstruck! He looked at me for a few more seconds. I held my breath. I was sure he could hear my heart pounding because I could hear every slam on my chest. He shook his massive head a couple times, stepped back from the table, and quietly left. I felt blessed to have met him in a good mood! LOL
Brian Johnson (vocals) is the THIRD singer for the band, starting in 1980. Bon SCOTT was the 2nd singer for ACDC (1974-1980) and took them from bar band to Internationally famous. Their FIRST singer was DAVE EVANS who toured with them their first year in Australia, and was more a glam rocker, than a rocker rocker. The voice of Brian and Bon were influenced from their birthplaces. Chris Slade, their part time drummer is another Brit. Paul Rudd, their longtime drummer was the only Aussie in the band.

I am happy and fortunate, at almost 48, to have seen many of these huge, unfortunately dying out bands live as a fan, guest, but above all working in the concert business for over 25 years! I feel like I have seen every act, artist, band live at work or fan that has made Black Pegasus reactions at least once... except Led Zeppelin in the 60s-80s, and twice in the 2000s! Beatles and M. Jackson (almost, but because he had health and court appointments, the planned shows in Europe were cancelled, so I couldn't play in the planned Jackson shows)! AC/DC is simply brilliant! Experienced and worked at 10 shows (at two shows I was the personal driver from hotel to stadium or airport trip wherever they wanted to go.... for me it was the Younge brothers if it was the limousine, otherwise everyone in the shuttle bus plus the tour manager and one of their security crew) super friendly personalities like most real A class globally known musicians.... well, there are exceptions.....Unfortunately, the majority of those from the rap/hip hop scene are extremely exhausting, unfriendly and very condescending to anyone who isn't part of the family or obviously a fan of them! That's why I like the heavy metal, hard rock artist bands the most because they always try to be friendly, normal and of course down to earth! So after watching this AC/DC original music video, I recommend you enjoy the live Thunderstruck concert from South America's River Plate Stadium 😉 Greetings from Switzerland 🇨🇭 🤘🏼🤗 to you Krizz Kaliko
This song is also a great drinking game: Get in a circle and everyone takes turns drinking/chugging until you hear the word THUNDER in the song, then next person in rotation starts drinking until you hear THUNDER again. There’s a long gap in between THUNDER at one point so one person will always get wrecked ☠️
Came over because I saw Black Pegasus was here so this is my first time being with you today, thank you for allowing me that access! I enjoyed the time I spent here so I subscribed and left a like for you before I left! I loved the banter going on between you and Pegasus! Best of luck with your channel!
I went to see them during this tour. They were as high enery as they were in this video. AC/DC is an experence you should have had back in the 80's, for sure. You both are too funny hahaha. Great reaction.
This brings me joy to rewatch an old favourite song. Hello, from Australia. The opening riff by Angus has got to be one of the most recognisable of any riff ever made, and that drum beat, well, that is equally as good. Hearing this just makes me so happy. Great music when driving, but watch out, or you'll be speeding before you know it.
How's it been krizz, I've been keeping up with your reaction videos bro, I love how fun you can make the reaction be. I highly recommend slipknot's song "psychosocial". The chorus is out of this world.
Thunderstruck !!! So much fun that you are in awe !!! that's what thuderstruck is.. When a beauty walks by and you lose your speech, your thunderstruck ! Love it you guys, thanks !!!
Gonna throw this out as it's one of AC/DC's most underrated and ignored songs but I strongly recommend checking out Ride On from Dirty Deeds Done Dirt Cheap. It's the last song on the last album OG vocalist Bon Scott performed but it's wholly unique in that it's more of a blues style song which shocks a lot of rockers familiar with the band. Absolutely worth a listen.
Krizz I could just be living vicariously through you but when you talk your shit and acknowledge your accomplishments and more or less talk your shit, that is my favorite version of you. You have earned that shit. Independently. Inspirational! Big love man
Saw them in concert 3 times ......well, 2 1/2......i was swasted and got carried out of one.......but they put on a h3!! of a show......i love seeing reactions from musicians listening to genres they don't know.......music is the universal uniters of mankind......

Big fan since probably 2006 or so. Hung out with you and kutt Calhoun at the bar at pops, you guys were really cool. Krizz, you signed my hat, thanks . You should do the hook for every song created. You are an extremely talented singer.
@@wanderer7610 appreciate that🙏 if it was pops in St. Louis, I will be back in STL soon🙌
I like even till now that song makes me want to run through a brick wall
😂😂😂
Launched jets in Desert Storm to this tune.🔥🔥⚡️⚡️
Thunder struck basically means being shocked to an extreme degree like flabbergasted
Lived in Vancouver and had a good friend who did tech work at Little Mountain (AC/DC recorded there) and got to meet Angus and Brian
Bet that was. Cool
There is a lot of Aussie band that has come out at the same time as ACDC in 70s and 80s had Cold Chisel, Red Gum, Midnight Oil and Men At Work
INXS, the Saints, Divinyls, Rose Tattoo, Angels, Icehouse/Flowers, Skyhooks, Hush, Ted Mulry Gang, Baby Animals, Split Enz (?), HooDoo Gurus, Men At Work, Mental As Anything, Hunters & Collectors, Billy Thorpe & the Aztecs, the Dingoes, ....(feel free to add more)
Love watching these reaction videos because it gives me a greater appreciation for the song because I really listen to it. And I subscribed to this channel.
Glad you like them! That’s awesome
You need to watch this song live from River plate. Crowd is insane.
I’ll check it out
❤great reaction. Mr Kaliko I think you do yourself a disservice, as well as a great rapper across different genres, you are a fantastic singer too👍👍👍
Yes!! He has a fantastic singing voice!
Singer Brian Jonson From New Castle
Newcastle 😊
Caught them 3 times over the years. Amazing artists.
River Platte 70,000 plus three nights in a row. Over 210,000 people having fun and very few cameras. We can be that way again. You guys are helping bind us together as AMERICANS.
Best wishes from Oregon. ✌
Its about the're experience of different ways they get strucked or shocked in life.
My opinion
BP, thanks for introducing me to Krizz. I enjoy watching you Lads react & banter.
AMAZING SONG! You've been THUNDERSTRUCK..
Yes I have
This song is also a great drinking game:
Get in a circle and everyone takes turns drinking/chugging until you hear the word THUNDER in the song, then next person in rotation starts drinking until you hear THUNDER again.
There’s a long gap in between THUNDER at one point so one person will always get wrecked ☠️
Good ol fashion rock-n-roll, just bang your head let it roll.
Thx. I’ll be doing a ton of these
This brings me joy to rewatch an old favourite song.
@@KSHARKS13 🔥
Thunderstruck !!! So much fun that you are in awe !!! that's what thuderstruck is.. When a beauty walks by and you lose your speech, your thunderstruck ! Love it you guys, thanks !!!
I love getting fucked up and listening to AC/DC. Love you're channel, what uo Black Pegasus.
I've seen AC/DC many times in the UK right back from I was 16 in 1984.
OK, I’ll check it out
Brian still sings like this live. Amazing ❤
I'm just enjoying watching you fellas enjoying music I grew up with. Some music is just timeless.
You need to see AC/DC live any video from any of their South American concerts. The crowd size is mind-blowing
Great reactions. I have loved Thunderstruck since it was first released. I just found your channel and am proud to be a new subscriber.
They know how to draw a crowd cuz theyre the sh#t!🔥🔥🔥🔥😁🤘🏼
He gargled red wine!!! Got to see them live a few times!! My favorite band EVER!!
In the early 90s, AC/DC been around a while, still rocking, Brian Johnson can't scream anymore, bur he put in 😂❤
My very first concert was AC/DC...i was 17... talk about an experience ❤❤
I bet it was crazy
A really good and cheeky song by ACDC... "Big Balls"... It's very tongue-in-cheek, and quite an enjoyable listen.
I love the intensity of the drummer
You are right about what thunder struck is!😂
Krizz I could just be living vicariously through you but when you talk your shit and acknowledge your accomplishments and more or less talk your shit, that is my favorite version of you. You have earned that shit. Independently. Inspirational! Big love man
Keep it up, I just love enjoying people enjoying the music I have loved. Its the best
The song is about going being tour and just being in awe over the blast they had. Especially with the ladies.
Legendary band and song. Got to watch it live at donnington 1991.The audience is unreal
Saw them in concert 3 times ......well, 2 1/2......i was swasted and got carried out of one.......but they put on a h3!! of a show......i love seeing reactions from musicians listening to genres they don't know.......music is the universal uniters of mankind......
Great reaction to an awesome band. I subscribed to both of you guys because of this!
