That was way more effective than I was expecting... and now I'm contemplating a big bomber-type plane with a fuselage full of the repeating bomb bays and wings full of repeating rocket launchers. It would definitely need a fighter escort... because I'm pretty sure it would hit the block limit before getting both sufficient propulsion and maneuverability (necessary) and bullet-firing cannons (which would definitely help against air targets... the rockets left a little bit to be desired there).
70-ish seconds from being on the approach and announcing the attack on Pirate's peak to destruction of the Mothership. Impressive. I feel like this challenge would be great for some casual speedrunning.

At 8:13 it looks like you had a good start to a Naboo star fighter. I’d love to see someone build off of this and make an infinite rocket launcher star fighter.
11:15 Probably the easiest solution was taking away some lift in the tail. You could just delete wings there, leave tailfins only and should be good. Tip for future planes.
I've only recently put two and two together but scrapman has the hairstyle of like the 20th century singer? people with the hair combed from the middle to the sides and the mustache, if he made his mustache shine and sleek he would look like those people. Like the people who sang the old Noah song.
You should try to lift a cargo crate on the danger island and fly with it I have tried and it is actually kind of hard or you could try and make a flat bed truck and put the crate on it to try and drive around with it honestly I really hope you like the idea
Multi-player monday challenge idea, you guys each build planes then give them one one another. The person who receives the plane may change the controls they deem fit but has to be able to complete a challenging circuit with the new controls before hand them back to you. Then you do you standard battle learning these new controls on the fly.
Maybe put a hover engine or gimble jet engine under the front to offset the weight of the rocket launchers instead of fins/wings you used to give it extra lift. Just a thought for the Hammerhead fighter
Hey Scrapman the reason the rockets are not hitting you anymore is because they made the rockets fire exactly where the rocket launchers tubes are facing where previously the rockets always fired in the direction of the launchers direction and not the tubes themselves but they have fixed that. Also you maybe didn't notice that they also added visuals to the Speeders Thrusters as well where previously there was no thruster VFX on them.
Other things i have noticed too is the Red Flak Baloon doesn't aim as aggressive as it did before it's aiming is much slower now, the Baloon use to spin around instantly and shoot at you but it doesn't do that anymore and also the Fighters Accuracy have been lowered too but they got an increase of health.
build an A10 warthog with unlimited miniguns, i think 2 miniguns might be enough for 1 infinite minigun, but its more fun if you have multiple infinite miniguns for the actual firepower
to determine the fire speed of the rockets, you could have two rockets, with one set to 0.00 delay and the other set to 4.xx delay, and tune the 4.xx delay until it fires at the exact same time as the first rocket after it reloads.
what would make this more awesome would be adding fully automatic guns to the plane which would come from the "Mouth". The Lower jaw of the plane would go down then reveal the guns. I would really like to see that!
instead of carefully balancing lift you could angle your front wings to passively give more lift (IF trailmakers aerodynamics work like this), this could also offset your center of thrust so you could keep the thrusters up instead of keeping them down
If I was playing trailmakers and was going to do this I would build something like a F-18 or similar where the wings are built on going backwards at an angle and make it 45 degrees and mount the rockets under the wings and maybe even on top of the wings as well.
I love your builds. Can you make the best rocket to land with control’s. Because in trailmakers I try to make lots of rockets that takeoff and self land, by only pressing space.
Maybe you could make a bomber like the spinning one, but it's a plane and the bomb bays spin around the fuselage. This is so that when you fire the bombs, it will create a wall of bombs so dense that enemy fighters can't get through it.
Not sure if this is possible but to have a delay in the rockets so when they get dropped and or launched they don't instantly just take off. Put a delay so when it drops 10 of so feet then it turns on the thrust
I haven't finished. The video yet but I feel the rocket delay feeling is due to the actual rocket itself needing to be a certain distance OR rocket launchers have a varying cd of 4-4.1 seconds
Id love if you'd do missile burst fire with this, so you're not firing constantly, but you just click it and then all the rockets fire very staggered with maybe 1/16th of a second delay?

Way don't you combine both vehicles with a big cargo plane like the top of the cargo plane opens up and then an aa gun comes out like your inf rocket blueprint and obi your inf bomber bays on the bottom and beable to land on water to make it easier to land such a big plane

since the small propellers have a smaller hitbox in the new update, maybe you should revisit the idea of breaking the sound barrier using propellers

Using the missiles as bomb-bays, as in aiming straight down could be interesting too. Might make for scarily accurate bomb-runs.

I thought the bullet shots were both high recoil and have a speed ceiling? Can't make it too fast, lest the bullets dismantle your own plane

And put half of them to not auto-aim. That way the rockets launchers could shoot at one auto-aimed target and 1 manually aimed target.

You should basically never put normal wings in the back. Vertical drag needs to be further back while lift needs to be closer to the front.

Smart cannon has a 2 or 3 second reload (I forget). Minigun is 5 seconds. Bomb Bay is 5 seconds. Missile Launcher is 4 seconds.

Multiplayer Idea: vehicle with two seats and goal is to successfully board the vehicle while the other tries to prevent it. Can be land, sea, or air.

4:00 I have learned from cannons that they require about 0.04 secs to be activated. Perhaps the same kind of thing is happening here.

Now merge the plane inside a plane inside a plane with both of these concepts (infinite missiles and infinite bombs) to achieve the best vehicle ever

I would remove the additional modular wings on the tail. It will only make you nose down more

Before the airborne update I rarely made flying vehicles, now I turned one of my favorite ground vehicles into a plane
Literally was just building a missile mini gun and and this is exactly the video that was perfect for that

You should really considering using trim tabs. They let your CoL and CoM be slightly misaligned but still achieve stable flight.

The way the missiles fire out in sequence reminds me of the Manticore Heavy Hwacha in Guns of Icarus Online.

What would be cool is if you could add aiming separately for each weapon on the craft. That way it looks at more then one target if they line up.

That’s the first speed run I’ve seen of the airborne expansion completed. Scrapman did the end boss battle in less then 1 minute.
