    Just wow! I love that Ian allows the other guitarists the chance to shine and then causally proceeds to set fire to the stage with his own playing to bring the song home. This is very high end guitar playing within a great song

    Astonishing playing and dynamic between both guitars and lap steel.... I'm at a loss for words....

      Dream Theater sucks. No soul. Ian has more soul in his pinky than DT as a whole.

    tired of the CC comparisons -I guarantee you he ain't trying to sound like anyone but himself.

      Yeah, but it is pretty unique. To me, Ritchie Kotzen sounds much more like Chris. And those are the only three people I can think about with this type of range and grain in their voice. The comparison will keep being made.

    Is that shoreline gold or inca silver? I can't tell because of the lighting

    • @PedroAsfora
      @PedroAsfora 7 ปีที่แล้ว

      Inca silver for sure! He has a modern that is probably that gold you speak of though.

    This version is next level but I gotta admit I miss the use of the whammy bar in the chorus.

      Exactly thank you, and by the way isn’t it ironic that both of if those men have released their singles albums in the same year 2015!!! Now im a fan of both Cornell and Thornley they are both freaks..... I think that one or the other copied each other, or something.... I MEAN COME ON DUDE!!!

    another Canadian band that gets zero respect. Tragically hip, rush... list goes on and on. Ian is God.

  • @gavinjordan6816
    @gavinjordan6816 6 ปีที่แล้ว

    I swear him and Cornell had to have copied each other or something I mean both men released singles albums with a month difference in 2015!!! HOW IRONIC 🧐🧐

      imsuckingwind I think Ian and Chris were the same height and their birthday is only one day apart (different years though). Ian is very open about his influences but I have never heard him mention Chris. I think it’s just natural and maybe in a small way a byproduct of the Zeppelin influence.
