at 3;08, that thing is for when you fold down the scooter that thing clicks onto the square thing on the back mudguard & locks onto it so you can carry the scooter. that little thing on the back mudguard isn`t a footbrake.?

The "little thing" on top ( handle bar) is what LATCHES it when you FOLD the scooter...
it latches onto the REAR FENDER CLIP....
Mines fell off and I lost one of the screws how can I fix that
I picked up the es max version for around 300. Goes about 20 miles at 22mph. best value I found.

Good to see you out there. Great video and insight. I have been looking at getting a one wheel. Still on the fence with getting one, but the scooter looks like it would be fun to cruise on.
Truth about this AovoPro ES80 ..
I have had mines for about 10 Months.
1: From "d3@d" to full charge battery is closer to 6-7 hours.
2: Says can handle incline 20degrees grade... reality, can barely go up 12degrees incline.
3: Range is closer to 14 miles (flat surface) ... I am only 175 pounds with my backpack (165pounds without)
4: The clip that holds the handle-stem to fold, will come "loose" very easy if riding on rough surface... (very dangerous as you will lose ability to steer) ,I had to put a CLAMP on it.
5: The little metal that holds the rear fender ,, it goes by the rear-brake light will break easy, because its so tight.. the VIBRATION /TENSION on surface causes it to wear , strain the screw, and break the brake-light off easily.
6: My BRAKES stopped working for no reason at all one day. been looking for "fix" online, might have to contact AOVO for replacement or a fix.

I had been considering a scooter.
You gave me information I did not know.
I was unaware of the lack of stability that I was used to on a motorcycle or even a bicycle.
At my age I am doing well but my reflexes and balance have suffered somewhat.
Think I am doing pretty well with my ebike and will stick to it?

Bad ass little pocket rocket¬ Am 215lbs and I just fitted a 7 kg office chair on it ( with hydraulic lift lever so now has suspension lol) rides like a champ, and to get up hills I just kick my feet on the ground with throttle!

The thing is the latch that helps it fold and also you can put bags on there after shopping

The clip on the handlebars connects to the little notch on the rear mudguard/fender, it isn't a manual brake, so don't stand on it to try and stop. By the way its terrible going up any kind of hill

Great presentation. Make sure you practice leaning back before braking.
That little flappy thing is for hooking it to the back when you fold the scooter.
Balancing is not an issue as you will get used to it soon. Make sure your foot placement is right.
This is a great scooter, but the only problem is the lack of shock absorbers. You can feel every vibration from under the wheels.
Saids it will last 4 hours, but your legs fall asleep after 2.
cool thing about this scooter is that you can get relatively cheap shock absorbers online easily since its kind of a clone of the xiaomi scooter which has tons of extra parts and mods being sold

@@mikesytes Actually the scooter seems way more convenient for simple traveling than a bike, you can bring that little thing indoors with you anywhere. I wouldn't mind even having one of them scooters that aren't electric and have the larger inflated tires. Don't like the scooters with the super tiny wheels.

DO NOT USE YOUR FOOT TO SLOW IT DOWN THATS JUST A MUD GUARD, it snaps so easily and it wouldn’t flash if you put your foot on it it just smashes , had a mega issue with this company after sending me a dangerously faulty scooter they offered a refund and i received nothing for months ridiculous, the repair centre managed to sneak me out a refurb one

You have the fake aovo scooter, the display is effed up lol, look at it it's effed lol, the display shouldn't be dodgy looking like that, mine does not do that weird flashing display it's not right that bro I would definitely take that back and get it replaced it's faulty display how you not notice that and mine does 21 mph it's like 32 or 33 kph
The flash is the scoter its the camera if u look at different video the display is same it not the scooter it is the camera
