This was ed's first time in microcenter? 😲Just the way ed was moving around and having fun was unexpectedly wholesome. Would love to see more microcenters vids in the future!
I have always wanted to go but there are none in my state and the closest one is a few states away so unfortunately I probably wouldn’t be able to go unless I travel sometime.
Would love to have a little setup like that. I don't have room for anything much bigger than that and well, still don't even have a a PC! Good luck to who ever wins!
You're one of the youtubers I watch most. I like your content. It's straightforward, filled with facts and very educational. Thank you. I was inspired by you to build my first system. That was 2 years ago. Since then I have learned a lot thanks to you and your videos.
Hi Ed, I’m 20 year old stay home parent you got me really inspired to save up and build my first gaming PC. I’m not gunna lie it’s hard saving up specifically when you have kids but I’m trying my best. I’d love to get into work to save up money for the PC but my daughter is only young and I couldn’t be able to go into work but it’s okay I’ll eventually get there. Thank you Ed for inspiring me to save up and build my very first dream PC! I’ll keep you updated if everything goes well when I eventually get the funds I need for the build.
Hey Ed i just wanna say thanks for the years of entertainment and joy.I really appreciate the effort you put in your videos .Much Love ❤️ Edit:Thanks for the heart
That is a sick pc build!! As always Ed, you keep giving us a quality content and a infinite amount of ideas for builds, nice job! 💪 Saving money for the new build myself, a few more months and I believe I will be ready 😂
Built my first PC about 2 months back and have been obsessed with the whole process and education I've gotten ever since. About 2 weeks ago I found out that the only micro center in CA is 12 minutes from my house...This is really bad for my wallet but really good for morale haha. It's such an awesome experience to be in a store that is catered to the entire hobby of building PCs and not only do they carry the regular schmegular parts but they carry lots of enthusiast parts as well.
Actually once I saw him sitting on the desk and raising it, you could slap a butcher block on top of it. Wonder if the company makes just the base as an option.
You putting smiles on people faces puts a smile on my face its just so nice to see people so happy to see someone and there happy to see them and its ligament not fake
Your videos are always amazing. Keep up the good work and I hope whoever gets that desk/pc puts it to use. Can’t believe it was your first time at micro center, I hope one day I’ll be able to get there too.
I had my FIRST micro center trip yesterday, and I have to say....... well worth the 2 hour drive there! As Ed said, staff is amazing, prices are practically unbeatable, I left there feeling really good about the money I spent! Glad they are growing!
Damn.. that setup does look cool , even though the price was way too much.. But seeing you go into microcenter for the first time and meet a lot of your fans was just amazing 😊❤
its insane looking at the prices and seeing how much they've fallen. Not to mention the amount of inflation that we've seen and through it all its made building my pc affordable at this point
There is a Micro Center about an hour and a half away from me and I love it. I can't go all the time but it's really fun to take a day trip every now and then. My first time walking into one, I was just like Ed. Total kid in a candy store and completely overwhelmed. Great video and thanks for letting me relive that feeling through you.
I’ve had the same build for a few years and ever since I started watching Ed’s videos I started a new build and change of setup. I have been getting a lot more motivation to do the change from watching.
That’s one good looking PC/Desk the, also this video is a little wholesome with all the fan interactions. I know many TH-camr’s that’d swat fans away as if they were flies. I greatly enjoy the content and the person behind it.
I'm visiting microcenter so often for the past 4 years, being a 20 minute drive from me in St. Louis Park, MN. The prices and deals there are amazing !
So grateful to live 5 minutes away from this Micro Center knowing there are people out there who have never been to one. Kind of like In-N-Out back in the day before they started expanding out of California where we felt badass because we had one of the best fast food burger chains at the time exclusively.
That is the kind of Desk I need for my small room. It would defiantly upgrade my gaming big time. Thanks for the Video Ed. I have been planing to visit Micro Center in the near future. I wish I could afford to build a PC.
Yes I agree, setups wars has inspired me to have my own work space & take pride in it. Love the videos and I’m learning something new from your videos every time you upload, man appreciate it!
I saw a video of a really nice, cute pc. And I was like, man I wish I could build my own. Turns out she linked one of your videos because it helped her A TON and that's how I discovered you! You've seriously gave me confidence to build my own and I actually started buying my parts yesterday! I'm super excited. Thanks for your content, it's really helped me :)
I loved the build Ed, and yes MicroCenter is king! I miss living around the corner from one lol One day I will have a setup worthy of submitting. WIP as always. You have inspired me to do more than just a PC build. I am working on the room and setup itself for once in my life. Keep up the great work!
These videos inspired me to build a setup and eventually make a tiktok page about it. As a 15 year old, I don’t even need to work anymore because it has just became my ‘job’. Massive thanks Edgar🙏
Love the comments and input on parts at Microcenter, would love to find out your opinion on a computer for a blind veteran woodworker. I am so happy on your method of description and interacting with your views.
I entered a Microcenter for the first time on my 39th birthday, and had a very similar reaction. The closest MC to me is an hour and a half drive (without heavy traffic or weather). I am not sure I wouldn't go with NO reason to buy from a website. Definitely need more locations. I took my 15 year old son with me, and he had a blast. We went to the Mayfield Heights location in Ohio. I will say my experience there was great. My second trip for my son's PC, however, left much to be desired.
Ed you are such a wholesome person man! Never would’ve thought that of you. Very lucky to have stumbled upon this channel way back when I did.(Red and black colour scheme days XD). Thanks a lot bro. Keep rocking!!
MicroCenter really does have all the stock. I live 20 min from a location. Wanted to get an iPad for my birthday and everywhere was out of stock BESIDES MICROCENTER. I live 5 mins from Best Buy and my carrier but still was excited to go to MicroCenter for the first time. I’ll be back later this year for my first PC custom build
Ed getting reconised by fans in a store is accually kinda cool cz normally fans would be creepy abt ut but since ed has such an amazing fan base and community its just wholesome not creepy love it
I live in Nor Cal I hope one day there is a Micro Center up this way. We use to have a Fry's Electronics, but they shut down years ago. I would definitely prefer having a store and physical product in hand at purchase over shopping online. I think it would have made the pc building experience a bit more enjoyable.
I remember working in the build room at the Lane Avenue Mall Micro Center in Upper Arlington which has sense moved to Bethel Rd Columbus. When I started putting together the IBM XT clones using dos 2 and dos 3.0. Then I would go home and using my Amiga 500 with all the glorious color and sterio sound while the systems I built beeped. lol. Was a real pain having to set othe dip switches on every card you put in the things. My latest home build AMD 5600x 32GB, 2 2TB SSD's, a B450 system board and I used existing 1650 super. Works pretty darn nice. I got everything at the Micro Center. I only worked there 4 years and the manager that was there in 92 is still there lol. as of last August.
I'd definitely get a secret labs desk instead. Yeah, the PC doesn't go inside it, but goodness, there are so many options for where to put your PC and many accessories for mounting a tower under a desk if you really want to go that route. Great vid Ed!
I’ve never been to a micro center as the closest one to me is like 3 hours away so this was cool to see from your POV. Would love to see more micro center videos in the future!!
I have a Microcenter 5min away and it is amazing. Everytime I drive passed my wife has to threaten me so I don't pull in. They always have great deals and when its that close you always find something you need. The PC was a nice build but the desk, too many cons and not the best design that is a hard pass - I do like the cupholder idea, that one I'm stealing. Awesome video, keep up the great work!
I remember shopping (and working) at CompUSA. Microcenter was around back then, and was the best place to shop then as well. Just wish there was one less than 300 miles from me. I do remember purchasing a VGA 17" CRT that had these crazy speakers on the side and a built in subwoofer. I had that CRT for so long. I think it was either Toshiba, or Sony. I can't remember.
That is such a cool pc man!!! I agree should be 1000 max but still awesome idea love to build one of these one day when I can afford it. Been binge watching your set up wars to get ideas from my Xbox one set up.. but will upgrade to a series x or a pc eventually. Hopefully prices come down in the next few years. And ya a cool water cooled setup would be cool to watch... keep up all your good videos
the only best part of this video is you shopping all those items at micro centre. and yes, i don't want to go home either if i ever visit the store someday💝
“You can’t use a mouse on top of glass” Bro I gamed on an Icemat for years and absolutely loved it. I think the fact that it was frosted glass maybe is what made them work? Idk.. but I would put frictionless mouse skates on my mice and they would glide across that icemat just perfectly, all day long.

wow i didnt realize there are only 25 stores in the country, I consider myself extremely lucky to live within minutes of a Microcenter. you can get lost in a store like this, I love it
I would recommend some glass skates for mouse on a table like this! They work really well, don't leave any scratches on the glass and mouse pad won't be needed!
I would like to add that the mouse and touch thumb print stuff recoment a long monster strip for mouse and keyboard for less finger prints and less reflection.

When Ed walked in the look on his face!! Like a kid in a candy store. Priceless. I wish I lived near a micro center.
Ed, you really are a positive guy thanks for opening our eyes to the world of setups.
What I like about Ed is whenever someone approaches him, he asks you if you wanna be in a video or take a selfie with him! What a cool guy Ed is!❤
I love these vlogs especially seeing you buying parts. Would love watch a video of you building a pc in Microcenter. Keep it up man.

I like the idea if it wasn't super gamer ish and longer. It's hard to beat a clean oak butcher block as a desktop which to me would be perfect

Seeing how that was your first time going to a microcenter makes me realize how blessed I am living so close to one.
