'It's deja vu all over again'-Yogi Berra Superyacht Times released their video oh this yacht today, so I take it either the shipyard or Superyacht Times had a press embargo on this. I think most people hear Gdansk and think 'Sunreef'. Guess we'll see how well Conrad does these yachts. If they can nail the all weather aspect for these and become synonymous with Northern Atlantic cruising and boating like Van DerWalk, Saxdor, Fjord and Marex then that should definitely help them because as cruising in the North Atlantic becomes more popular, especially for eco-tourism and adventure yachting, being thought of as a boat that can handle those conditions should do well for these guys.
This yacht is nice and well appointed and laid out. I love the simple and modern design. The only thing that I feel is a negative, is the formal dining. I feel that experience would be very controversial seeing as it’s open and not enclosed. I feel that this is something that this builder can change per customer request. Great video and thank you for sharing.
Those are nice crew quarters compared to most. A happy crew is a happy ship. Good crew spaces are something I consider crucial. Very nice flybridge layout IMO. What was not clear was whether the dining area can be sealed from the elements? Is there a sliding glass? If not, this is fair weather eating only, no?
Independent fact checkers have determined that the statement 'coldest place on the planet' in referring to Gdansk is not true. The Eastern Plateau in Antartica is the coldest place on the planet. The coldest city is in Yakutsk, Siberia, Russia. We've made the determination that Alex was being facetious because he lives in Florida now and like most of us Floridians, thinks anything below 65 is jacket weather. The other coldest place is 'mom's basement' for whatever troll keeps posting about how much they love Alex's feet. That's really weird and sick random guy who keeps posting that. So stop.

I'm going to be honest, that comment really stuck it to me for probably the first 2-3 minutes of the video and I couldn't concentrate on the ship. No city in Poland even makes it to the top 10 of coldest places.
The master has an appropriately sized television. 😉 I've never understood the propensity to use tiny television screens when a bigger one would fit. Maybe it has something to do with my bad eyesight? 😉
Never understood the Miele appliance obsession on these yachts. I have had Miele appliances in my galley and all have either broke or needed repair in less than a year of owning them. Every owner I know complains about the quality. Why do designers continue to use a product that continues to fail time and time again. The online complaints about Miele is mind blowing. I swapped everything out for Wolf and SubZero and havent had a single problem in years.
I know styling is subjective, and we all have different tastes and preferences, but personally, I think the interior is beautiful. Even if it's not completely set up because of weather, it still shows as fresh, clean, and modern. Add in coordinating personal color accents, and it's perfect.
Nice boat and all (Reymond Langton is my favorite designer. I'll never love another boat more than Viatoris) but what I really want to know is what shoes Alex is wearing at 4:04

To each their own, but Conrad is know for producing extremely high quality yachts at the best value. ACE in particular is a prime example of Conrad's ability to intertwine ultimate luxury with world-class performance.

If you get an opportunity to view her up close you can see the difference both in craftsmanship with the wood work and also in the machine spaces that are superior to other similarly priced yachts or even higher priced options being delivered
"Coldest place on Earth?" 🤔 Gdansk isn't even the coldest place in Poland. Poland doesn't make the top 10 of Europe. As for the boat itself, I think five crew is too few for this size. Maybe it's because I prefer the 45m+ (150') because those almost without fail have 7+ crew members. At least it only hosts 10 instead of 12. I'm probably one of those rare people that does _not_ prefer floor to ceiling windows in the main salon. I like counters for decorations on top and storage underneath. Does she have a steel or aluminum hull? EDIT: Special thanks for including the "retro" galleon(?) in the background at 7:46 and even giving it a few seconds of screen time instead of editing it out and re-filming.
One thing I find really annoying is "I like", sorry but I don't really care what you like. This is not intended to be putting you down, and you are not the only "host" that does this, but if you were to point out features without personalizing it, your presentation would be much improved.
I cannot understand why there is such a broken perspective - such poor snatchy movement. Such a beautiful looking yacht, but such a wasted opportunity for a decent walk through.

I have to say that the furnishings and materials are not on par with the 133! Please replace all the chairs with soft more substantial ones and round off a few corners. While not as innovative as the 133, I do like aspects of the interior a little better especially the absence of loads of white. Nor is it as aesthetically pleasing on the outside! It seems more generic and hard to differentiate from other brands which is bad because its Conrad. I hope the capabilities are similar with higher top speeds having sacrificed range as that is where the 133 stood out! It should appeal to a wider audience, if that was the intention! I kid myself that my numerous comments about losing the sauna and gym up top were actually listened to, but I don't see the restroom/shower opposite the bar to prevent having to walk down a level! It is still a very nice boat and yet the 8 million jump in price for the extra 11 feet isn't readily apparent! Inflation I guess!
I"m also involve in business in Poland and I got really bad esperience with specialied emploies. The quality of job is much much lower compare to country like Germany, UK, Italy. I'm really happy to see that maybe there are also in Poland people can provide a good job , but I'm not really sure I feel confidance to spend 30 milion for a yacht buint in Gdensk.
Gdansk is one of the most historic shipbuilding cities in Northern Europe, and Conrad employs over 400 of the best specialists in naval construction, complex engineering, old-world craftsmanship, and modern yacht building. After watching Alex's Walkthrough we don't know how one could doubt the quality of a shipyard like Conrad, but to each their own!

I'm manager in a company located in the central part of Poland, with around 600 emploies. We face exremly big problem to find qualify people, for exemple welders. Another problem is the high ratio of peple leaving the company. Like an example, we train many simple employ to become welder, and when they learn, they fast leave the company. You touched a good point with "work accross Europe". I know many of our employ left for other coutries serching for better salary. Unfortunatly now we don;t have the finantial condition to offer the same salary they can have in Germany for example. I'm really happy you can hire 400 good, trustable, qualify people. Unfortunatly me and many other managers that I know see a different reality. I underline all this people are manager in different business, but not in yours. I conclude saying that your sentence "across Europe and are one of the most respected" is not true. There are several country we enourmous bigger exeperience when come to industry. Automotive in UK, Germany, Italy, France. Nautic in Italy and UK. This just like an example. It always bad to be too general, so for sure there are many qualified people in Poland, but i term of quantity and tradition you cannot compare with other country .

I know of many Polish companies producing top high quality products in different areas (furniture, electronics, automotive) and they have real trouble selling their products because of constant prejudice and attitudes like yours. I know a few examples where they have to team up and give away profits to local companies that pretend they are products from UK or Netherlands because Polish label does not sell because of discrimination. And you extrapolate your experience from your company onto entire country making Poland what it is absolutely not. The wages are also on the rise especially for good specialists. *Your company is clearly not paying enough.* Maybe it's a crapy company that thought they can capitalize on cheap workforce by underpaying their employees. I Dont see anyone buying a yacht they doesn’t have an indoor dining table. That is bazaar/ surely there’s a place you could ad a dining table. What if it’s cold or raining outside or dark or too hot or anything ?
