It’s a Lockwood Aircam. Made in FL. Very short takeoff. Meant for low and slow flight over hostile terrain. I have about 15 minutes as PIC in one so I am an expert.
@@AbdurRahman-qr9ub i suppose a 4 seat equivalent is possible but it would be a whole other animal. This thing gets its slow fight performance by having very low wing loading. Adding two people means bigger engines and more fuel and heavier structrure. Maybe the new 915 or 916 engines or maybe the Lyc O 320. All that means a huge wing, i suppose around 300 sq ft. The real fun would be seating. The Aircam is tandem seating, An in line 4 seater would be hard to balance unless all passengers were same weight and empty seats were not allowed. With side by side seating the fuselage would get wider. The means engines have to be farther apart and that means engine out yaw even with feathering props. A company once made a sorta big Super Cub. Called it the Sherpa. Had an O 720 Lyc. They may have sold a few. I assume it was impractical. So would be a four seat Aircam.
As others have said, that background track is pretty unpleasant to listen to for more than a few seconds. (I realize it's just stock audio...but a little bass-heavy for my liking.) Just something to note for future videos--but nice footage!
Thanks for sharing. I had no idea that was at Oshkosh.
Makes you want to climb aboard and take off! Thanks for Sharing! 🙃🙂
Go for it!😅
Seaplanes combine all the costs of airplane ownership with the cost of boat maintenance. 🤑
Getting my Seaplane rating was a blast, it was so much fun.
Fine with me. Want one anyway. Fly safe everyone Blue Skies. 💙😎🥰
Belíssimo video...
🇧🇷
All good except for the background music.
NO MUSIC! Your Pontoon boat was overloaded in the front. One good wave and she will submarine.
Beautifully filmed!
Thank you very much!
9:48 can someone please name this plane?

@@piperg6179 thanks alot bro.
@@piperg6179 Sir I was wondering, can't we make a 4 seater version of it(air cam) with little modifications??

@@piperg6179 hmm, got it. Yeah it would be very different and the out yawing would be a problem.
Thanks for putting this video up. It is good. I would ditch the music. I'd rather hear the motorboats, people talkin and airplanes running.
Fun vid, for me, especiallly when played with the sound off.

Sorry about that, I will try to avoid that in the future
Hey.
I think u probably are meaning well, but this was boring. Some planes with floats, thats it. You can do better!
