I’ve used lots of propane heaters but I always like to learn something new! Propane hardly lasts long and is quite expensive. Thank you for showing me something new!
I remember seeing you going viral and then subbing to keep up with your videos, never got a notification or anything when you uploaded, hoping to keep up with your content in the future
I had the same problem! TH-cam's algorithm has gotten so bad and unpredictable like that, makes me feel bad for creators whose content isn't being shown
@@wanderwithmac Hope it wasn’t too bad for you with the storm Mac. We had strong winds and a little rain, but wow other pats of Scotland 🏴 got hit hard with the floods! We are the lucky ones this time round
@@wanderwithmac I hate the scary winds! Just looking at wee hoose’s for sale, looking at down sizing, trouble is quite a few have all ready been bought for holiday homes. I look everyday as you never know. Time for a chip supper and fizzy pop!
I've just now watched your three videos on this interesting subject. I believe the more expensive heater/cooker you hinted at is a Linwin model (for those who might be as interested as I was.) I was also interested in a paraffin vs kerosene fuel comparison for indoor use. It seems that paraffin, while similar to kerosene, is more refined and produces fewer particulates. It is recommended that kerosene heaters be ventilated to the outdoors if the fuel is to be used indoors. Times in my childhood when my parents heated with kerosene, the appliance was vented through a chimney stack.
The heater that I used in the video was a bit tinny and not very well made, other heaters such as the Linwin model look to be better made. The paraffin vs kerosene fuel comparison for me was more about cost as paraffin is expensive; I was also mindful of carbon monoxide problems but didn’t find any problems once I got everything running properly. My tent does not have a built-in ground sheet there for plenty of ventilation.
Nice piece of kit Mac, will be good to see the full review once you've taken it on tour.
Hopefully at the end of the week.
Love seeing the update everytime Mac! Adventurous move to put a heater in a tent but can’t wait to find out how it goes!
This would be a gamechanger for many shivery souls! Can't wait to see it in practice
Love your videos!! Thank you 🥰💕
That looks like a good idea be looking forward to how the Heater works out with the Tent
All the indication are that it will work out well

Paraffin can be cheaper if you mix in some domestic heating oil; it’s a ¼ of the price.
Loving the video! Hope you're having a lovely weekend🤘❤
That’s really cool Mac!
Thank You Mac!!
This very interesting. Can't wait to watch more vids❤️

Yes there may be a problem in general on the net, however I have never had so much fun in years.
@@wanderwithmac That's great, I'm happy to be here for it.
I just wanna hug you like my grandpa
Love the video, thanks Mac!

Hello there Mac!

Hi Dawn, have you used paraffin.

Great review Mac. Take a canary with you though🐦😂😂
That would be braw in a big bell tent 👍
We will soon find out
@@wanderwithmac I’ll be interested to see how ye get on, I’m needing something along the same lines for my winter escapes in the old army tent 👍
Army used pariffin stoves in thier larger tents
@@wanderwithmac aye, right enough, I was thinking about one of those wee wood stove things but I like the look of this one your testing.
Does it smell of paraffin when it’s heating?🏕️☕️
Yes there is a slight odor but I don’t notice it, I will comment more on any odor when I do the first 2 hot tent videos.
