Such a haunting song. I am lucky ( or old enough!) to experienced all three versions in my lifetime (Tears For Fears, Gary Jules, and now Jennifer Ann). By far, this is the best performance. Such a voice . Thank you xx
Yeah this is a truely great version! The funny thing is that the only reason Gary Jules covered this song was that the movie Donny Darko couldn't get the Tears For Fears version because it would have cost too much. If they could have we would not have had that version nor this one!
The original is untouchable, a league of its own, but this amazing and much much better than the one Gary Jules did. The piano is fantastic especially at the end!

I've always liked that song but the vocals of all other versions,including the original,weren't matching what I wanted to hear along with this melody. For the first time I am able to hear that beautiful song and truly enjoy every second of it. thank you!

I love this, I only found you through this cover coz its the advert for Lloyds where I see the replica of my horse who I love dearly but had to leave her in Greece when I had to return to the UK, very sad! This song helps keep all those happy memories of her and my time on beautiful Corfu

I do not think this is just a story told through the eyes of depression, at least it is not for me. "The dreams in which I'm dying are the best I've ever had". Those that have seen the other side like I have, I mean really seen it deeply cannot help but be forever changed by its beauty. These dreams, so vivid and so moving put the world and our actions into a different light. When you have seen people treat each other beautifully and deeply love, then get pulled back into this madness, the politics, the greed, the war, the selfishness, and the death here, it is rough. So many things get important for so many reasons, but it all adds up to create a mad world, a mess that can be so cold, so cruel, yet still often so beautiful. There is not a day that goes by where I would not give anything to be in that world that waits and comes with death. But I am here, feeling stuck in a world where I feel so lonely and out of place sometimes. But thus world and our lives cannot get better unless we hold to the true important things that bring us all closer together. I do lament the idiocy and madness of this world, but hopefully we can all together put each other first, and deeply care. Why do we let so many things come between us? The relationships we have matter so much more. Sorry for being a bit weird and random, but I have had enough of the politics and war. It is a mad world, but hopefully we can make it a bit less so together. Very beautiful performance.
