This was used as an Office Cab ( For Tata Consultancy Employees). I had taken a ride in this. This was a comfortable MPV with capabilities of an Suv . Best part was it's suspension doesn't let you feel bad roads inside. A great car but This Failed because it looked like indica and had quality issues too.
Edit: But the Hexa was a Great improvement it deserved better sales....
Nah though it was on based indica but some used to call it pregnant manza in one of the review where he mentioned one customer who visited to buy a car from Tata dealership when salesman showed that one too as that was wealthy would be better the Aria too,bas looks aur poor aftersales of Tata back then dragged it as Taxi car before XUV500 entered and took that crown but still they tried giving more aggressive looks and though Tata was improved when Tiago entered followed by Nexon but still faded as it was a combination of XUV500 and Innova.Would surely be a hit if they bring with major facelift today as they finally grabbed the top position of 3rd largest automaker in our country and attention of people towards SUV'S.

I had one from 2010, filled with safety features , and rarely seen on the road. It was hands down the best car ever. It was surprisingly easy to drive as compared to it's size. Only let down was old Tata after sales service. Family members still share memories of road trips in the ARIA.
Really miss those charming old tata cars full of character, the safari the hexa and the aria were so amazing cars, none can match them, its not that these car sold in less numbers, rather it was only for legends

@@varunchitkara1310 Well No. But Mhawk and Varicor are using same engine blocks with different injectors. Varicor uses delphi injector and mhawk uses bosch injectors.

The Aria was a good and Comfortable vehicle. The problem Was that it was Launched back then when People were Fed up of the Relaibilty issues of the Indica/Indigo. And Back then TATA had this Bad habit of Designing Every car like the Indica which Ended up Looking Horrible. Even the Vista and especially the Manza which was a Fantastic car got Ruined because of bad Designing. But yes, Today Tata motors have improved a lot and They are getting was they Deserved long back in the 2000s era.

I had seen this ARIA everytime on my way to college. And searched on TH-cam "faisal Khan aria" but no video was available at that time sadly. But now it's here...totally obsessed with this ARIA.

Still driving my old aria lx (2013)2wd. It has clocked more than 125000km. Yet no issues, changed the clutch plate kit around 110000km other than that no major repairs, no squeaks or unwanted noise. Great car. Superb build quality n super tough.

The Next Generation of Aria is the Hexa. It was a Good effort from their side. It deserved better sales for sure.

I have aria 4x4 pride 2014 varicor model. Car is heavy and strong . Giving good power and mileage than innova . Really this is monster car and you cant compare with innova as its seating position is entirely different .

Although this car was good, there was no marketing for this I feel

@Faisal You NEED to drive and review a Hexa XTA and compare it with Scorpio N to get the real feel!
And trust me you will find a Sea change even from Aria!! And NO Hexa is not just a facelift! There are HUGE engineering and design changes between the two!
If you want come down to Delhi and i will make my HEXA XTA which is 4 years old and has done 70000 kms available to you for doing your review!!
