We had this car. It had the soul, the character and the driving feel which has kind of vanished in Today's TATA cars. Only Downside was it's Relaibilty.. it was horrible in this aspect.

Brings back good old memories😍😍....such a good vehicle, where in those times, i remember only the well to do families own the Sierra here and there, we mostly travel by tata buses those days...tatamotors made this out of of tata pick up Telcoline boasting an Intercooler sticker on its sides....it was a luxurious vehicle back then in those days...and also can say as the first made in India SUV with an Electronic switch on 4x4.

Love this one. A friend of mine had one. By the end of its life, the front passenger seat would move on it’s own on hard breaking lol. But was an all rounder, brilliant on highways and where there are no roads
i owned a tatatelcoline with the 2.2 l engine she was a beast and could work all day long she had completed 6 lakh km and never failed me

@@jayvrdnfz Yeah, but Thar goes for that offroading raw bare minimum looks, while Sierra looks like it has borrowed design elements from a hearse. It's a great vehicle, but I doubt many Indians will like the closed cabin approach of Sierra. It can compete with the hard top Thar tho, which is more or less the same.

I'm so happy that I'm proud owner of Tata 207 di crew cab 😃😇😇♥️..the same design of SIERRA front , interior almost same as Sierra, only difference is that rear design.. engine was 3.0L of 207di powerful (direct injection)...and it is so fun to drive, and I appreciate its build quality 💯💥.

This is a car which attract almost every people of India due to the amount features and space it offers with muscular and macho road presence+ the exclusive rear glass area is a nice looking element ! We all know that almost every people want the sierra back 🤝 but still its a suspense for us that this gem will come in future or not ! 👀well the concept of sierra is now 4 years old and still there is no clarification on that ! Missing old tata with a badge of ruggedness and pure "SUV" nature

You have to idle every turbo car because while starting, the exhaust gases and lubricant will flow to turbo. And while stopping, idle for a minute so that the exhaust gas leave the turbo and also to cool down the turbo. Failing to do this will damage turbo very fast.

We had the OG naturally aspirated one. We've covered most of India in this car when we were kids.
It had a great AC, and these alpine windows made it seem like you're sitting in some luxury car with so much space and height over the road.
Was a mile muncher on highway with almost 15/16kmpl on diesel which was remarkable.
The only drawback was that Telco mechanics and service centre guys knew only how to repair tata trucks but not this gem of a Peugeot engine and they would screw up the car.
India didn't have good engine mechanics as well during that time to handle this car.

Sieraa was ahead of its time. the design for sure and features. Maruti should have learnt from tata in that when they were just provided a bkx with tires and engine like gypsy and others. Tata should definitely bring back Sierra in modern avatar and I heard they r doing same but as EV. But it should match the finess of LR and robustness of LR and jeep. No craftmanship errors what people are seeing in new safari and harriers.
To go out, there is a lever behind rear seat right corner 💕💝
