So I'm going back through it and I am following the scale using the number system. So remember the key is directly related to the major scale. So key of F# uses the F# Major scale to tell you which chords are allowed. I am playing the scale in chords. So a quick reminder the scale counts from 1 to 8(1). So 1 4 5 are Major chords 2 3 6 are always minor chords and 7 is diminished.
