This story was very touching on a personal level. I had a friend named paul christmas when i was young. He was kinda slow but he was such a good guy. He'd help anyone with anything. We played basketball and video games together as kids. Other kids were so mean to him and he even got beat up one time but i always treated him as my friend. He lived with him mom and he had a little brother. We used to play dragon ball z budakai 3 and i used to kick his ass so bad on there. One day i came to play and i just couldn't beat him any more. He got so good so fast at that game it amazed me. Fast forward to when we were young adults. I had a job and one day i got a call to go to his house cause something had happened. He died from a massive heart attack and i had to pick up his body. That shit just tore my soul man. They say the most high takes the good people first. I picture paul to be just like Huck but in real life. Then 2 months later his mom died from the same thing. That shit hurt me man. I figure they are in a good place right now watching me type this. Rest in peace my friends. Ill see you again. Thank you for the story danny. Great as usual.
They may be dead but their loved ones are the ones who keep their memories alive. Bless both of them n u as well for being a true friend to him. The fact that u were called to take on such a difficult responsibility after his death shows just how much u meant to that family. Paul was a blessing n so are u.
Love this one. These kinds of heroes are like, the true spirit of what they inherently are and/or should be. He's great, the kind of hero I would've grown up to appreciate and aspire to, no matter how edgy I grew to be, lol.

This should be a Channing Tatum movie. There is a wholesomeness which emerges in Millar's work, to his benefit and credit. Despite the criticism of his sometimes outre storytelling, it is dynamic and entertaining. I would enjoy seeing King of Spies retold on this channel as I find your retelling entertaining, soothing and enjoyable. Big Game is a fun book, although I think the initial series of hero murders went on a little too long to give it the set up I hope we do get.

It seems Miller really doesn't wanna to write edgy stuff and do this because it sells. Without this factor, he's more in touch with classic perception of the superheroic genre rather it's deconstruction. Great video, as always, Danny. Don't you plan to cover Millar's Ambassadors? The overall read is great, but in the final issue, it's fall kinda flat.
I am going to cover Ambassadors soon, working on it now among other videos. Ambassadors is not amazing, but its solid fun, and so far it seems important for Big Game.

Hey Danny I have a idea for a new line of videos, Hellboy. I search for it and their are not many videos about it and I think you would be perfect to do it. But this is just a suggestion and a question.
I think Huck is an easy character to bring into the Big Game crossover as it makes sense his character is in the same world. Something like Millar’s Reborn book, may be harder to tie in.
