तहजीब आ रही है नज़र, हमारी नज़र में । आये हैं हम भी देखो, नवाबों के शहर में |
अदब, इज़्ज़त और मोहब्बत का घर है ये, कोई और नहीं जनाब, लखनऊ शहर है ये !! "
अंदाज़ नवाबी, अल्फ़ाजों में मोहब्बत, और जिंदादिली में डूबा हुआ हर कतरा-ए-लहू है, मुस्कुराइए जनाब ये "शहर-ए-लखनऊ" है।
अदब के शहर से हूँ गजब का मिजाज है, लोग पूछते है क्या यह मुस्कराकर कहत| हूँ लखनवी अंदाज़ है ।
मासूम सी सुबह हसीन सी शाम होती है यह लखनऊ है यहां अदब सी रात होती है
"लखनऊ हम पर फ़िदा है हम फ़िदा-ए-लखनऊ
आसमां की क्या हकीकत "जो छुड़ाए लखनऊ "
भुला दूं कुछ गलतियां उनकी कुछ खुद कुछ खुद भी सुधर जाऊँ...आ जाए थोड़ा अदब मुझ में मैं भी लखनऊ हो जाऊं...

the problem of us since ancient times is that we like to live in the past, we think art craft culture etc are thing of the past and it should be just protected and held on, and make "fusions" and nothing more. Art, craft, culture, history and knowledge, inventions and discoveries are not things of the past but past plus present, we should keep creating, either by heavily adding on top intelligently or by starting more or less from fresh point, but this is not part of our culture since ancient times, thats why yes since ancient times we have many things to be very proud of in different fields but we again since ancient times but more so in medieval times lagged much much far behind in all things especially compare to the west, there are other problems too since ancient times with us but lets stick to this for now
