Hey bud. Just wanted to thank you for taking the time to post this video helped me out and got it all installed really quickly with your help. Thanks again
I get everything you explained other than where your speakers wires are coming from? The converter is for the the RCA to the amp. Then cant you just wire the subs to the amp?
Do u have any issues when voltage low My system even with new alternator. As soon as the amp draws a lot of power. It kicks my transmission out of gear
I have the same car. I’m looking to buy subs, but not sure which. I’m looking for bass to shake my mirrors. Are these good and/or do you have any recommendations?
Hey sorry I'm just seeing your comment. I haven't ran wires from the drivers side yet so I am not too sure about the wire colors coming from that side. I used the passenger side because the power supply was already there.
You didn’t use the proper terminal for the ground and you fused it where if the fuse were to catch fire or needs to be serviced it’s hard to access not to mention other damages that can cause to the vehicle. Just a no all around. Always fuse closes to the battery
Hey there! The Terminal I used for the ground was included in the kit for that wire type. Also the fuse is close to the auxiliary battery that I am getting the 12v from. I can access it pretty easy and my wife won't be pushing any loads that will make anything catch fire. Thanks for your concern!

Glad I could help!
Bro! I owe you my life! This helped me out so much for my a class 2021. Exact same method.
Good to know I was watching this hoping it would be the same. I’m bout to put 2 15s in my 21 a220
Perfect explanation sir! Thanks.

Correct. RCA to Amp and then speaker wires to Sub.
Does this same install work on a 2021 GLA250 also?
Do u have any issues when voltage low

Hi good job! How exactly did you connect the wires? do you need to connect only the right speaker or the left speaker too? thanks
Both subs need to be connected but you only need the signal from one source.
@@MillerTheRancher ok for the subwoofers. i meant about the rca converter
Bro Thanks for the tutorial !
You left the factory touchscreen, right? I have the 2022 model with AMG body style. Does it cause massive rattling? How is the sound on the inside?
Sorry for the delay. Yes factory touch screen and yes it did cause some rattling in the trunk and fuel door.
Do you get alternator wine? Power wire next to the rca sound wiring can make noise if side by side…. ?
Nope, no noise at all.
i’m sure with your speaker or sub. it’s due to ground loop noise. if you are using rca cables get a audio noise filter
I have the same car. I’m looking to buy subs, but not sure which. I’m looking for bass to shake my mirrors. Are these good and/or do you have any recommendations?
Yes I recommend this setup. I also have this same setup in Mt 4 series and it has good deep base.
Isn't the Trunk area separated from the Car Interior. How whould sound pass through that if it is close to Airtight ?
This is an installation of subwoofers that are more for vibration and feel. They let us feel the bass. Sound isn't significant with them.
Hey there I will be adding a 3000 watt rms sub and amp will this method work or will it be better to run it through the main battery
Main battery that's alot of power
Did this void your warranty?
Why not use a nice line in converter I hear they help
Is this as well for the 2018 cla250 non hk system
Im not sure if you ever found a solution or not but i cant seem to figure out how to remove the interior trims he took
Where can I buy this subwoofer and amp?
This solved my problems
Use a kicker keyloc much better auto loc and dsp in one
Will this void my warranty?
Probably.
You never told what wire to tap into on the driver side? Can anyone help?
