The best thing about getting old is that my favourite music gets a lot cheaper. Love it Billy

Not the best time of year Stu so if I can give you one more tip, mainly for this time of year, it is to fish the early morning high tides. The water warms up on the flats during the heat of the day and Queensland is as far north as the big dusky gets cause they are a cool water fish. They bite well on early high tides because an incoming tide has bought cool ocean water into the system and the heat of the day hasn't had time to warm it up. That makes the flathead very happy and hungry.
Go get them champing and let me know how ya go.
      Wardy

@@wardysfishing9403 Thanks Wardy - big fat fail - headed out on the weekend early down the Logan Rvr with a plan to head towards Jumpinpin trolling along the way - strong wind warning put paid to that so mooched around the bay with no Flatty joy - caught a nice 40Cm GT tho''on a Snakelokz jighead / minnowz so all was not lost. I hooked a decent Flatty (I think) in a creek close to Toorbul the other week but I lost him close to the boat - must try harder. All said it was a great day on the water anyway!

Do you that trolling with your 2 stroke outboard is some times too quick?

G'day mate. I do troll with the two stroke but mine seems ok. I used to have a tinnie that was too fast to troll so I used to di it backwards. I looked like a dickhead but used to catch a lot of fish.
