Wow. I have suffered for 40 years. I have learned more in this video than I ever knew. Thank you. I am seeing an ENT soon after suffering for almost 60 days now. Finally ended with an oral steroid but has not completely knocked out the infection.
I have but one qualm with this presentation, and that is classifying the headache as a minor symptom. You are sorely mistaken (no pun intended) and I would also place some further not-so-nice words here but I wish to be civil.
Excellent lecture from the scientific and medical angle as well as delivered in very understandable way. Also, many practical advises for home remedies and educational for my future visits with my ENT. Thank you very much,
Very good explanation of the specialist, it is important to view complete. It clearly explains everything, which does not explain the other primates otolaryngologists.
I like this video and learned a lot from it. I did go to a specialist that told me he didnt want to operate due to I had surgery years ago for deviated septum and the bone is very thin in my sinus. he was afraid that the bone would collapse causing and indentation on the outside of my nose. did have pollops removed but I still have pain and stuffiness on one side. any suggestions would be appreciated. thank you

I had 2 15 yr old failed tooth implants with severe bone loss…laser surgeries /bone grafts..eventually removed by oral surgeon call when doing a CAT scan after removal stated I had sinusitis. The black area on one side of the maxillary was black and the other gray. Went to an ENT who is giving me the Neil med with adding budesonide and Celine, prednisone 20 mg down to 2 mg and Amix-celeb. My ENT doctor asked me if I could breathe. I laughed and said not only can I breathe. I have no symptoms whatsoever. I do have a deviated septum. Dr Hwang, Thank you for caring about us Sinus sickly people. I need some answers, I pray you can help. I had TMJ AT AGE 19, the dentist sd I needed surgery . I never went back. I have had pain my entire life but when I had head truma the pain was not working. I have taken tramadol for 4 years. in 2011 I stayed sick and I havent stopped now 41 years of age, 2012 they found brain matter in my right ear. removed still sick. sinus chronic sinusitis. he dr now is stating deviated septum and polups . I am sick all the time, been to over 30 doctors FOR MULTI PROBLEMS fibromayalgia, bone issues ele where. I am thinking I have something more wrong. I was a massage practioner . after seeing this I am worried about brain matter and more holes in the skull. How do I move forward. DRs dont like questions and you reseaching. I am in fla, any help my family and I would appreciate. Mcramer
Hey, sounds awful. Yes I have suffered for 7 years with mastoid sinusitis / ETD which would become glue ear if I wasnt rinsing daily. Tramadol is the only thing that touches it. Take a tablespoon of black pepper or 20mg of piperine to increase to tramadol effectiveness and its anti-inflammatory, etc, etc, etc. also, if it would be helpful I can send you 3d screenshots of you CTscan if that would help you? Maybe I can find something to direct the specialists towards. let me know. I had to do it for my own issue, but the field of medicine in my opinion is extremely wanting.
I used sinusoothe nose spray and it was amazing. It cured my ten year old sinus infection in less than two weeks and did something all the docs and specialists couldn't. Stings - but what good medicine ever tasted good? Anyway, stinging only lasts a few seconds.
Yes, nice , informative, learned things. I am just surprised when he mentions saline washes he talks about washing away mucus & debris etc but doesn’t mention how salt can reduce inflammation and thus open up passage ways , also salt has some anti microbial medicinal qualities.

Thank you for giving the well-arranged contents about the overall concept of dz and therapeutic information following the characteristics and explaination of appropriate approach to the antibiotic use, detail description relating to surgical process...but a little bit concerned that this video has been made quite long time ago. so "New" Treatment titiled is needed to be adjusted for whom want to get actual New guidelines and not to let them misunderstand some treatment options which had been recommended from this video. i.e. part of topical antibiotic use through the nebulizer, this is not commonly used for treatment in chronic sinusitis according to my reference and what I've studied until now. I wonder how's going with the study sponsored from NIH or if it has been finished, the results? and How about topical Vt.A?

I have eliminated cheese from my diet. With amazing results. Insanely difficult to do because I love it. Whenever I fall off the wagon I get the issue again.
I had sinusitis for twenty years and only got rid of it because I used the nasal spray sinusoothe. well here is an update. got the same sinus problem again and again having antibiotcs and cortizone again and again. Finally a month ago i went to a heart doctor cause i read that chronic infections can cause heart problems so went to check it out. Well he advised me after i explained the cause of visit that what i read is correct and that i also have developed a small problem that i need to keep an eye on for now no medication. Also he advised that i check for allergies. AND so i did.
I have been diagnosed with cronic obstrucktion of right sinus with sclerosis walls and my heart beats has went up from 50 to 85-100 at resting and trying to sleep. I have chest pains and numbness only on antibotics. The antibotics can and do cause heart problems look into that.
through simple blood test we found the IgE was of the normal values so i know some of the swelling in my head and the asthma that followed the surguries comes from an allergy reaction. I now wait for the cortisone to "clean" from my system so i can go check what gives.....

Excellent work thanks for posting I just learn't so much about my condition. Need to see a specialist who has the time to explain obviously. Thank you!
This is excellent. I learned a lot!!! TYSM
wonderful very therapeutic, and relaxing had a sore throat helped me fall asleep
Thank you for this information. You are terrific.
Excellent presentation, Promoting clear understanding for the layman. Helpful and very informative. I think you are a very conscientious and good, Doctor, thank you very much.
Wow. I have suffered for 40 years. I have learned more in this video than I ever knew. Thank you. I am seeing an ENT soon after suffering for almost 60 days now. Finally ended with an oral steroid but has not completely knocked out the infection.
Hey Bill what you used for your sinus infection
I have but one qualm with this presentation, and that is classifying the headache as a minor symptom.
You are sorely mistaken (no pun intended) and I would also place some further not-so-nice words here but I wish to be civil.
Ya well fir me it dates he or they don’t have that headache as there main issues.
I did go to a specialist that told me he didnt want to operate due to I had surgery years ago for deviated septum and the bone is very thin in my sinus. he was afraid that the bone would collapse causing and indentation on the outside of my nose. did have pollops removed but I still have pain and stuffiness on one side. any suggestions would be appreciated. thank you
Great lecture. Thank you.
Very insightful teaching. Thanks so much
Thank you, so mucha for this class!! It is amazing how he explains everything. I hope that I could meet him one day. I have been having sinusitis for over 18 years and its terrible to have that, every time I go to my doctor she always have 2 shots one for inflamation and one for infeccion, prescribe nasal spray and descongestal medications but never explains what is the cause. Thank you again!!
What is the cause?
Very good, but which doctor is going to cure the inflammation to stop the smoldering?
Can it cause a breathing problems
Absolutely it can. I’m dealing with pseudomonas now from a fungus infection in my sinuses that drained into my lungs and got into my lungs
I was diagnosed with hydrocephalus at age 41 just to find out years later that it was my sinus after undergoing shunt placements and removal and I've been suffering for it seems like eternity from colds thanks for this information
Outstanding presentation. Thank you!
I would like to make an appointment with you. Can you give me your information..?
Thank You for sharing the information 😊. It was very helpful and informative.
I had a ear pressure ringing after a week of sinus infection. It's going to be third week now. I'm afraid of this. Is this ringing going to go away? Besides that I lost my smell and tastes too. Help please.
I’ve had chronic sinus problems all my adult life , I’ve had surgery for deviated septum it didn’t help . I have headaches all the time teeth hurt eyes hurt cheeks. I’ve taken prednisone ,antibiotic ,nose spray . I get up almost every day with a headache . It’s Miserable.

@@anthony.jrcardullo6054 Mold is indeed a huge issue, I can sense the smell of mold in houses and if I sleep for just one night I'll have a cough for weeks.
He’s telling me these medication‘s may work so it’s a 50-50 chance that I might need surgery and I’m scared to death. Your presentation was wonderful but I cannot believe that I have absolutely no symptoms no stuffiness nothing.
I just listened to the entire video and he covered everything. I would like to know the percentage of success, that Immunization, or allergy shots has had on the treament.
Where's this doctor located at
Whats the intro tune? @0:00 🔥🔥🔥🔥

Mcramer
Mm
Anyway, stinging only lasts a few seconds.
could you tell me where did you buy this as my 29 y.o son suffer from this condition and I am worry about him very much .Halina
Where to get the sinusoothe from?
Halina Kowalczyk Amazon
Us it is pharmacies?
same here just 3 months after the 2nd surgery and a ton of treatments earlier with no results
Yes, nice , informative, learned things. I am just surprised when he mentions saline washes he talks about washing away mucus & debris etc but doesn’t mention how salt can reduce inflammation and thus open up passage ways , also salt has some anti microbial medicinal qualities.
After sinus surgery do polyps grow back? Does the septum go back to its original form?
Muy buena explicacion de ese especialista, es importante verlo completo.
Explica claramente todo, lo que no explican los otros primates otorrinolaringologos.
Nothing to do with the inoculation program starting back in the fifties, then?
It's a great video helps me to release !

how about having this for over 45 years . i have no dranage, headaces hurt from ear to ear across the top of my head, all of my face, have had nose bleed bleeding from the ears( both ). has got so bad that i could not open my mouth for 3 weeks . i have been going through this for a very long time, i was told it was migraine headakes. and to add i may have 2 alright days a week and this has been sense i was about 10 but got way worse when i turned 18 i am 64 now , so that's all i can remember in my life . i hear people talk about sinus, my nose running . i say try this that i have going on and then see how that works for you.
I Really Enjoyed How he explained and answered questions at the end Thank You!
What about laser surgery? Specifically for polyps surgery
I was told the polyps will come back. My mom had it done 3 times. I assume the 3rd time was much more invasive procedure where they basically remodel the inside of your head. She's now using sinus rinse with budesonide in it. Same thing I'm using.
I have pylops in my nose it’s really hard to breath hope no surgery is needed I go back to eat nos throat doctor April 14 for a Endoscopy for a checkup
Thank you for giving me a full understanding and that lesson about chronic sinusitis which I've been suffering now for around five years

Hi, how are you doing now? Have you done anything that works to rid it?
Any cure yet?
You are probably dealing with a fungus growing inside your sinuses I had same symptoms plus 100 more I can’t even begin to tell you how much I went threw and only till I had Over a 3 hour surgery did they find a bad fungus infection that would have killed me now a year later I’m fighting sinuses again just diagnosed with pseudomonas. Get help immediately from a good ear nose and throat dr. Best of luck it’s a miserable life I completely understand
Have you tried the sinus wash with saltine salt, it has helped me
Colloidal Silver?
I wonder how's going with the study sponsored from NIH or if it has been finished, the results? and How about topical Vt.A?
its new to whoever just watched it................
This is very good I have Sininus problems and bothering me for 6 months and not knowing what to do . I live Indiana and would like to know where I can go for help ?
I had a sinus infection that lasted three months and then I was better for one month and now I’ve had a bad sinus infection for one month and it is not responding to antibiotics, I have to take Cipro because I am allergic to penicillin. And I am on my 13th 14th day of it and my sinuses are at their worst, my head hurts so bad my face hurts so bad I just want to sleep all the time, I beg the Lord to take this away from me I am suffering in pain so bad I just want to cry, I have been crying and I am a 43 year-old adult female. God please help me please take this pain away.😢😢😢😢
Please be very careful with Cipro. It is a dangerous antibiotic with serious side effects. Reseach Fluoroquinolone Toxicity Syndrome as you may already be havng side effects from Cipro. I have health issues from only 4 pills of Cipro.
I pray God will touch and heal you.

again a really nice video. thumbs up for you as always! Tomorrow I will put my birthday video online. I would be happy if you are there too. I wish you a nice day and see you later.
A helpful video but I would suggest someone checks the sub-titles as they need improving. I have had chronic sinusitis for nearly a year, tried most things, now my doc. suggests surgery even tho' there is no infection or blockages. Any comments would be helpful as for me it would be a last resort. I am 74.
Definitely chronic, Also affecting my right ear
Same here for the last 12 years. ENTs don’t want to understand where I live. I am having my PCP take a look at the video and discuss what we can do to
Try to help me
With controlling my symptoms.
I have been living in a house with black mold above shower and ripping up carpet. Got a sinus infection took antibiotics and seem to go away but then got a bumb on top right tooth and went to get it checked and the dentist said the tooth was fine two weeks later went in and they said it was infected so pulled it and the top of root was black. Fast forward went into ER with chest paid and heart racing, everything checked out fine but i knew there was a huge problem had to go to three doctors to do a CT scan and they found my right max sinus was full and said chronic obstruction of the right maxillary sinus with sclerosis walls. Im very scared it already got into my brain and mold has started messing with slight head pressure all over and trouble sleeping. Am begging someone has had simalar symptoms???
Hello. I was wondering.if you found anything to help you. I've had the worst chronic headaches all on my left side.from for top of my head all on the left side.left nostril eye ear.and top and bottom teeth. worst headaches.imagined. I've started using basil saline was out and open my sinus.but I sure hope you have found you some help. That dentist should not have pulled your tooth if you had an infection.almost killed my sister when a dentist pulled hers.anyway.like to hear back how your doing. Thanks

I just don’t know what to do
thank you Dr. Hwang, a very useful insight. I've suffered chronic sinsitis 40yrs. It has been very disabling and the quality of life poor. I may have respite for five days and it will begin again. I have tried 100's of remedies to no avail.I had an op.a long time ago, to no avail.such as life.
I have eliminated cheese from my diet. With amazing results. Insanely difficult to do because I love it. Whenever I fall off the wagon I get the issue again.
I had sinusitis for twenty years and only got rid of it because I used the nasal spray sinusoothe. It will not work for everyone but I know at least another three people who had sinusitis and this worked. You would be mad not to try it. I've now heard that most of the doctors in Houston, Texas are recommending it for sinus infections.
maxi rossi I am going to try this! Been dealing with chronic sinusitis for a very long time
Curtisg have you tried it? How has it been?

I sm taking lipid control Repatha a.k.a. evolocumab .. into my second year ... my LDL dropped from ca. 150 to 20. Side effect is cold like runny nose. I do saline rinse with a sprayer I make myself using home made sprayer. This is a known side effect of Repatha.

Thanks sir. It has been a very clear and thorough explanation about this deadly chronic sinusitis. Keep up your good work. I have sinusitis, which is causing chronic bad breath. If anyone has any point to cure this pls. respond. It will be quiet useful to me. Thanks in advance.
I too have this problem could u say me how did u cure
well here is an update. got the same sinus problem again and again having antibiotcs and cortizone again and again.
Stergios B any updates?
I have been diagnosed with cronic obstrucktion of right sinus with sclerosis walls and my heart beats has went up from 50 to 85-100 at resting and trying to sleep. I have chest pains and numbness only on antibotics. The antibotics can and do cause heart problems look into that.

Sinuses "bleed" through the orifices, (ears, nose, throat/mouth eyes/tear ducts).
And teeth/jaw
through simple blood test we found the IgE was of the normal values so i know some of the swelling in my head and the asthma that followed the surguries comes from an allergy reaction. I now wait for the cortisone to "clean" from my system so i can go check what gives.....
Intro bests be damn godly
Noo, that depends on the antibiotic / medicine. So you wouldn't take an antibiotic, you'd use silver in the nebulizer.
