I agree with you about beech hedges being full of dust and white fly, dirty devils to cut but look great for a trim, hope work has picked up for you from last video. You have some great gardens to work at btw.👍
My Stihl HS81R has a front facing exhaust, it points towards the blades. My Husqvarna 226hd75s has the same type of exhaust. They both have vibration dampening systems which help reduce the vibrations. I'd recommend to check out the Stihl HS82T or HS82R (same as 81 models, just newer). Husqvarna 522hdr60x or 522hdr75x.
I have the HS45. Also a combi long reach. The vibrations are bad, I get tingling in my fingers. I'm hoping to upgrade to a Hsa86 battery hedge cutters next year
Hi mate, nice video, I've just bought a stihl kombi, the long reach trimmer you have is it the short reach addition or the long one please? Can't seem to find the short trimmer online. Thanks, James
I know this is a year old but the battery hedge cutters are now excellent I bough a millwaukee a few weeks ago as it is lighter and a great job so light and powerful too. I have a mid reach cutter and a single sided Stihl cutter which is great for heavey hedges. Beach is a great hedge much better than leylandi
That's as straight and plumb as a brick wall. Beautiful job. Don't forget to wear anti vibration gloves otherwise you'll suffer in later years as I do.
Nice work. I’ve had the HS45 for a few years & have the same issues, vibration is terrible even with 2 pairs of gloves. Pretty inexpensive for a Stihl machine though so some compromise is expected I guess
@@uklawncare8505 ur welcome mate i always enjoy ur vids im using the 45 at the min and i was thinking the same u need mini breaks from it i mite try a husky next for a change i dont think the battery stuff is rite yet for the money there charging
We have 45s and 82s but recently switched to battery and they are worth the money. 45s do vibrate a lot. Great video.
Thanks for watching mate

Worst garden job ever. Hate cutting mine. It's not even mine. It's my neighbours. It hangs over our fence. 😠
It’s not a job I look forward to either. Thanks for watching mate
