Absolutely brilliant presentation. I have to say that I am in the market for a new system. Not everyone has 40-100k to throw at a system so it's refreshing to see some of the, dare I say, lower end speakers being reviewed. I agree with your conclusions as well. I have to also say I have been listening to other speakers like focal that seem very bright without as much bass and at a much higher price point. Honestly these sounded better to me. At 2k US versus 10k US I find it really hard to justify the extra 8k on a "Higher end" speaker. Thank you so much for the reviews. Look forward to more from your channel.
more expensive speakers do do more there is no getting away from that but these are capable of a lot and that lot can easily put a big smile on your face which is what it's all about. It's not only about the speakers as a lot of people claim these speakers were fed from frol very good electronics source and in a good room to create the results I got :) All the best and thanks for watching
Just had a set of these speakers, run them in for a week, quite happy with them, run them with Arcam a 39 amp and Rotel power amp plus arcam CD player, so bi amping them
Those speakers seems very good. But i will hold on with My b&w 683 s2 for a bit longer, 4 years old now. I most likely upgrade to 700 series instead to make a more difference. The difference between 683 s1 and s2 are big. Not as Much with 603 as it was with previous gen. The amp i want to upgrade first. I own nad c375bee for now, i am happy with it. But i want an amp with more features. And maybe a Little more forward treble. Its a bit laidback on nad, and 683 s2 are a bit laidback so they could benefit from that. Rotel ra 1592 and musical fidelity m6si seems intresting. They could benefit the speakers to full amount.
I highly recommend a subwoofer if you plan to use these in a 2.0 / 2.1 setup and will be using it some for movies/tv, or if you ever want to play music where the bass is a main feature... hip hop or certain R&B. I own them and they sound great with other genres without a sub.

Hi Terry. I got a pair of these about six months ago and am still blown away by them every day! Especially the bass. The two wooden plinths that came with them are out in the boxes in the garage, as someone told me "Ooh no boy, you won't need them!" But I'd just like to ask you, as you did such a great set of demo's and review on them, what you think? Should I go and fish them out of the garage and add them to the speakers? My room is a little on the slim side, but there is still room to add these, so, if you don't mind, whadya think? Please. By the way, I use them equally for music and home cinema. Thanks!
Hi Terry, thank you for the excellent and detailed review! Would you please do a test on Kef Q950? Kindly compare them or do a shootout? (With the new B&W 603) Thank you very much and really appreciate it!
