It’s good for what it is. This was pretty good and liked the ending, especially since I don’t see another SCP video on your channel. Thought the part where the mannequin killed the guy next to the squad leader and the lights go out with the 2-3 shots in the dark, it could have been cool to see the flashes from the gun barrel light up the mannequin and each time the mannequin is closer before cutting away. I think my only critiques I have is that some spots looked like they should have had a military guy show them how to clear rooms and the squad leaders line delivery were kind of bad. Pretty damn good for a first time though.
i was invested in this, i like the concept and the story. the acting was a random mix between bad and good at some scenes yet it was very enjoyable if only you guys had budget big enough to equip yourselves with better gear, literally only one guy had a fast helmet. also the entire team should have reacted to the two first guys to die

Wow, that was properly tense and scary. Genuinely, really invoked a sense of fear of the unknown within me. One of the major critiques I have is very little communication between the team, the moment one of them encountered something like a moving mannequin it should've been reported to the whole team. Also, gun mounted lights and/or Nods, considering this raid took place during the night those should've a must (the amount of times I said "turn on your lights" was way too many). Also, having a TOC the team could report to would've been cool to see, too. Still, very impressive film.

This is a great start to a potential SCP series. I feel like with the right funding, guidance and creativity, this could potentially rival films like Dollhouse and Overlord. Great start
Amazing lore and portrayal of the SCP Foundation! I am someone with ocd on small details so do have quite a few constructive bits of feedback. But before that some positives - very nice story telling with really good video editing skills lead to a ride keeping you engaged throughout! Onto the criticism: 1) Clothes - the introduction is we fight in the dark, would have been good to slowly fade into the van with personnel wearing dark clothes that show they usually operate at night. 2) Lighting - the inside of the van in the start is too bright for an elite squad, it would have been better to have no indoor light and only torches with a light disperser at the end so it's not too bright to hurt if flashing in anyone's eyes and not showing everyone's face. Keep the mystery, who is this squad - until they go inside. 3) Dialog - the boss needs to be more firm in delivery or have more control in voice, especially to set the mood at the beginning. The team needs to communicate more between each other and you have to remember they are a squad - they should have tried reaching base at the first sign of a problem bigger than them, even if they were unable to reach. Another example is towards the end - the boss says "guys this is getting real wierd" and "yeah I saw one of them back there" as if convincing the rest, that is more NPC behaviour not boss behaviour. A boss would be like, "We've encountered a similar entity outside - stay focused, there could be more of these in here." not I don't know what to tell you, they need to be believed without word not need to convince their squad. 4) Chemistry - the guy trying to turn the tv off is too un-natural and walks back to watch? Gun facing down, no question as to who is playing this on the tv, and why are all of them looking at the tv and none in the room at surroundings, after a while the one at the door does something but that is too minimum action for someone messing with a whole squad no? Shouldn't they be trying to come up with a strategy, it isn't until much later they talk about a cult but do nothing to plan against the end. 5) Observations - are these hot heads, do they have observational skills, none of the team pointed out they didn't move whilst observed or think to understand these entities? False alarm, it's a mannequin - a highly trained team wouldn't make a mistake like that when they deal with strange occurrences on a daily basis. And kicking it bare feet. When the feed plays on the laptop of the other guys, the one watching stays there not making any sounds or screaming or trying to communicate with them? The lights went out, one guy got egged. Why did they not learn from this? Switch to torches or something portable. At the end they took the bait, at least the boss should have been at the back and said no wait and then the door shuts on them or something. One person needs to have normal IQ in this situation. It might help to flesh out more details in the beginning, this comes with practice, in the start you want to ask all the questions and plan everything out (even unnecessary details that get you drawn to the scene). Questions like: What was their target in the building i.e. what do they want to do before leaving, will they leave themselves an exit the same way they came in? What kind of leader is the boss? How many times have they done missions before? What gear does everyone have? How many weaknesses of the entity will be discovered? How many smart vs dumb characters are there? Do they report at set periods back to base? How far is this from base? Think of anything you can to flesh everything out.
This was very good! Though I recommend keeping track of lighting consistencies, at points it would say 3:00 AM yet there was light shining through the window, don't know if that was intentional to maybe show they were transported in a different dimension as soon as they entered hence the time change, but from what I noticed the light seemed to be gone the next! I think it would be cool to see more use of communication/walkie-talkies and maybe even an higherup that gives commands ans authorizes certain actions, nevertheless this was done pretty good for you guys first scp film!
This was great to watch and I know I would never be able to o any better and you all probably ran into some issues, but: - The lack of helmets and gear - Radios / communications - How the actors first act when they see the mannequin, the MTF is not a cartoon, they are not like a steriotypical show. As well as their stance when they first see the mannequin, you hold a firearm to the pit of your shoulder, not loosly in front of you and not taking aim. - The guy not telling his teammates about the thing recording behind them
I try to catch any short horror/SCP films and I am ready impressed with this one. It's got a great idea and tension...not to mention the technical aspects of making a movie. Great job!!! ❤❤❤
As a firearms and military enthusiast, the choices of vests, lack of stuff in the backpacks/pouches, and incorrect handling of firearms/airsoft guns ruin the experience a bit but all that aside for such a low budget project put together like this isn't terrible. Good job but I suggest watching some TH-cam videos about room clearing if you make another video like this to better understand how room clearing should be done and how to better understand how you should handle firearms/airsoft guns.
Not gonna lie as a SCP fan I immediately thought this was going to be a dollhouse ripoff but boy I was wrong. I like the twist thats involved and how the anomoly/cult made the MTFs attack eachother vs fighting a primordial force. Stellar work lads I would like to see you work alongside Evan Wright. Your creativity shows with a lesser budget so please DON'T stop this content
@@echnofilms7191 One thing that you would be interested in is tying this in with the "Alternates" of Mandela County if you're familiar. That or channel 52 as they talk about alien esque beings that uses psychological warfare to kill their enemies. They also masquerade as people they have took over.
For a first time, this was excellent. Bigger budgets and better equipment/training will definitely help out. If you'd like some pointers/tips, id be glad to help out where i can. Just let me know if you have discord, or something i can reach out through.
Honestly this was pretty epic had me on edge. The only flaw i would say is not properly understanding mtf and how the foundation actually works. So if you do more reaearch next time it would be even better. Love the work guys. Edit: what i mean by that is understanding what each task force does, what they wear and what wepons they use. It would be better if they had proper radios, uniform and armour, common wepon type, balaclava and helmets with night vision etc. Task forces of the foundation are pretty much like special forces in the army so probably go in that approach.
Nice one. As I read some of the SCP entries, I wonder how the people that first encountered it were able to figure it out or contain it. I think this captures the challenge well.
Really nice, I like it, there a few flaws but considering the budget it's really nice and I love that there are still people caring about the SCP Community
Loved the film. On-top of the issues some other comments have highlighted, I just wanted to mention that the lighting in the film doesn't suit right. The film is opened with the phrase "we fight in the dark, so those can live in the light". This sets up the film to be focused on an after-hours mission. Yet the lighting throughout the film is far too light. It even looks like its daytime through the windows just after stating that the mission takes place at 3:00am. Aside from this, loved every minute.
This was a really well made film, it reminds me of the scope of Overlord by Evan Royalty My only concerns are mostly what people have already said so I won’t bore anyone with another novel worth of text. But the one that stands out the most for me is the psychological aspect, the MTF should have shot the anomaly at 10:56 or at least reacted more scared/startled, little things like that go a long way. With that being said I do believe you’ve got something going here, and I can’t wait to see what you can show us in the future!
There are a lot of things to pick on when watching something like this but in all reality there were really only two things that distracted me from the story. 1. Tell the guy to take his thin blue line patch off his vest for the video, he's supposed to be an SCP operator not a range larper. I mean its literally just velcro and he couldnt be bothered. 2. Why doesnt anyone have slings? I understand that you all most likely used your own kit for budgetary reasons, and im willing to ignore the fact that some guys have helmets and IR lasers and some guys only have maverick 88's and airsoft vests. What I would like to know is how SCP operators would be doing tasks such as: switching to pistols (since some of them were carrying pistols) carrying/ dragging injured operators, securing intel, just general one handed actions without a rifle sling. Obviously you left those types of actions out of the film but we cant ignore the fact that these are things high level operators would need to be able to do and without a sling you cant effectively do any of those things. These might not seem like big deals but slings are a pretty cheap piece of kit to add immersion to your story, and taking off a thin blue line patch is free. Just seems like lazy oversight.
SCP stand for Secure Contain Protect, not Special Containement Procedures... But the concept of the film is good, really want a more flesh out version !
Other than the Name which you altered, the movie looks great. S.C.P. Stands for Secure. Contain. Protect. It's under the Common Creative, meaning anyone can use and add to the it without any licensing fee or similiar.
It also stands for the Special Containment Procedures described for each individual anomaly at the beginning of every article. I guess giving that explanation without also explaining the Foundation name could maybe be a little confusing for people who have never actually been on the site, but it’s pretty well known for people in the community.
Pretty dang good for a first SCP film. Just a few quirks need to be made but nothing crazy, slight patches in the text info, such as the part that explains what SCP stands for (should be Secure, Contain, Protect I believe). Other than that, great show!
Secure. Contain. Protect is one of the mottos of the SCP Foundation, it was created after the acronym SCP. SCP originally meant Special Containment Procedures. The SCP Foundation is the Special Containment Procedures Foundation, not the Secure-Contain-Protect Foundation. SCP-XXXX is Special Containment Procedures number XXXX Btw in universe the SCP Foundation is mostly called 'The Foundation' and not 'The SCP Foundation'
You know, when someone leaves an open laptop pointing at the main entrance of the hallway, you might want to start taking anti-cognito and mimetic hazard measures. When Heaven's Gate archive footage starts playing, then you DEFINITELY need to start taking anti cognito and mimetic hazard measures.
The film was a great and the team has a lot of potential to unfold. And with the correct guudance and direction will help improve the quality of future films to be made.
So do they get transported to another dimension and the mannequins take the place of humans or are the mannequins sight based anomalies like the micheal guy bleeding from the mouth was because the warehosue mannequin got shot.
Thought I read about this SCP somewhere, don't remember its number but its definitely about sapient mannequins that want to genocide humanity. I think the SCP foundation destroyed all or most of the instances though it is KETER. I swear this is familiar, great short film about it.
“This could be an anomaly… just slowly walk away” ah yes, the standard MTF procedure
Things that got you killed:
- no walkie talkies
- dissing the mannequin as nothing when they said to expect the unexpected and not fully realizing if it was there or not before
- The Micheal character not shouting a warning about the camera view of the others
- Not everyone had a battle buddy/safety partner
- little to no communication
- the leader dude saying "This is getting really weird" In an SCP Anomaly situation and again saying "Expect the unexpected"
- Not hearing the old dude's cryptic message and getting out or going on high alert when he speaks of world destruction
- Underestimating the anomaly
- Separating to go after the hooded mannequin when you know shit's going down
- Shooting first and asking questions later far too late
Please allow error due to lack of knowledge and data on the Anomaly and it's properties, effects, side effects, long term and short term effects, and secondary SCP's that it may include are all unknown or not thoroughly researched.

This is a great start to a potential SCP series. I feel like with the right funding, guidance and creativity, this could potentially rival films like Dollhouse and Overlord. Great start
i freaking love thi thank you!!
Awesome film! Can’t wait for the next one
Amazing lore and portrayal of the SCP Foundation! I am someone with ocd on small details so do have quite a few constructive bits of feedback. But before that some positives - very nice story telling with really good video editing skills lead to a ride keeping you engaged throughout! Onto the criticism:
1) Clothes - the introduction is we fight in the dark, would have been good to slowly fade into the van with personnel wearing dark clothes that show they usually operate at night.
This takes me back to my college days where I would make indie films with friends.
I don't know why, but I have a feeling that there will be SCP films some day. I home that it will be soon.
this was bloody well made, good acting and clearly good imagination for the plot, make more of these!!
Well done... I'd like part 2, 3, 4... Could be a series. Congrats 👏🙌🏼
I'm not an expert or anything, but I don't think you clear a building by having everybody look in the same places sequentially.
Good job chief, do you wanna keep rambling? Do you want a medal chief?
That's y you never made it as soldier or anything except a guy who comments dumb shit on you tube
This was great to watch and I know I would never be able to o any better and you all probably ran into some issues, but:
- The lack of helmets and gear
- Radios / communications
- How the actors first act when they see the mannequin, the MTF is not a cartoon, they are not like a steriotypical show.
another masterpiece from the SCP community
Very nicely done, there's a bright future ahead for this channel. Would love to see more content
Resurrecting Col Applewhite of heaven's gate was pretty epic
#Objection!
I am at the middle and I notice that those MTFs are too careless!
I love that some of these creepy sound clips were sourced from "Godmaker" by Lorna Shore
Great job y'all
As a firearms and military enthusiast, the choices of vests, lack of stuff in the backpacks/pouches, and incorrect handling of firearms/airsoft guns ruin the experience a bit but all that aside for such a low budget project put together like this isn't terrible. Good job but I suggest watching some TH-cam videos about room clearing if you make another video like this to better understand how room clearing should be done and how to better understand how you should handle firearms/airsoft guns.
Damn that was a trip. Excellently executed gents!
Ayo great work you guys! Cinematography was on 🔥
Hell yeah, good shit Ephrim.
This is so good man. Great work 😁😁
its pretty good although we all know the beginning was heavily inspired by dollhouse and i mean HEAVILY
Really well put together guys, this was so damn good! Keep it up!
Haha Evan weight actually was the inspiration on me to create this film. I will be making another one but this time I will post it in my channel
The aspects of SCP overlord and dollhous by evan Royalty, mixed with mannequins and death is sick
Wow, can't believe this has been out for over a year and I've only just seen it. That was amazing.
you deserve more subscribers really well made
0:55 score stand for secure, contain, and protect not special containment procdures
I enjoyed watching the movie, awesome job guys.
I really liked the ending!
THE WHAT THE WhATTTT!!!???? Cool Visuals Man keep it up
Honestly this was pretty epic had me on edge.
If I was in the tech team here, I would not have been able to resist saying "Have you tried turning it off and on again?"
... and then I would have turned it off and on again.
Nice one. As I read some of the SCP entries, I wonder how the people that first encountered it were able to figure it out or contain it. I think this captures the challenge well.
This is awesome great story behind it
Great work👏🏼 favorite part was 13:04
Amazing quality
Very nice, and one Tip for the next Movies, watch some videos for tactical movement.
And next time everyone should have the same Equipment. Like uniform and gear.
Really nice, I like it, there a few flaws but considering the budget it's really nice and I love that there are still people caring about the SCP Community
We need to make more movies.
Sick movie. Congrats man!
Note: It's "We die in the dark so others can live in the light."
Haha I know I just didn’t want to potentially spoil the film with that saying
I love how the MTF look like some kind of SWAt team instead of an overpowered military unit. Really shows how the Foundation is a private organization
Spooooookyyy! This would give me nightmares if I experience it in IRL. Keep it up guys!
Can't seem to find out what MTF that is they look more like field agents to me
They might want to clarify what MTF they are
The film is overall good although it could use some more gear such as radios or caps for the MTF.
0:57 SCP (meaning the foundation) would be Secure, Contain, Protect. SCP (as in a description of an anomaly) would be Special Containment Procedures.
10:12 he does this to us at work too. / good job this was great :D
😂😂😂
This was a really well made film, it reminds me of the scope of Overlord by Evan Royalty
My only concerns are mostly what people have already said so I won’t bore anyone with another novel worth of text. But the one that stands out the most for me is the psychological aspect, the MTF should have shot the anomaly at 10:56 or at least reacted more scared/startled, little things like that go a long way.
With that being said I do believe you’ve got something going here, and I can’t wait to see what you can show us in the future!
This is great for a low buget film one thing I would recommend is have MTF more equip I feel like only one was decent ready
If its all about anomalies and containment procedures, should they were hazmat equipment?
Mtf: punches the anomaly
Me: welp 😂🎉
The twist at the very end
I’m guessing it was an anomaly that messed with eye sight and the brain so everybody just killed each other.
Your close 😂
Pretty dang good for a first SCP film. Just a few quirks need to be made but nothing crazy, slight patches in the text info, such as the part that explains what SCP stands for (should be Secure, Contain, Protect I believe). Other than that, great show!
Secure. Contain. Protect is one of the mottos of the SCP Foundation, it was created after the acronym SCP.
SCP originally meant Special Containment Procedures.
The SCP Foundation is the Special Containment Procedures Foundation, not the Secure-Contain-Protect Foundation.
SCP-XXXX is Special Containment Procedures number XXXX
Btw in universe the SCP Foundation is mostly called 'The Foundation' and not 'The SCP Foundation'
