The best oil additive for your new engine
In my opinion is Prolong engine treatment. Treats the metal, not the oil.

    Capt. Ron,
The visible vibration looking at the engine from the front (pulley side) may very well be normal. I personally do not have ANY experience with BETA 85HP.
If you were to send a video clip of the engine running at 1500, 2000 and 2500 RPM to BETA MARINE and get their opinion if it looks OK to them would be a good peace of mind, and good to know.
I am sure they have seen that particular model run hundreds of times during their own installations. It would also help to do a video UNDER LOAD and in NEUTRAL and see what they have to say.
I am not saying there is anything wrong because I have no personal experience with that particular engine but I have plenty of experience (good and bad) LOL with others.
    It sounds wonderful..
    Sail in good health.
