I would love the ability to use the 950 as an input device, like with Mitutoyo calipers. Do you plan to implement the option to connect the device to a Windows PC?

Thank you for your interest in product improvement. However, there are no current plans to connect the Orion 950 to Windows. I have passed your suggestion up to my manager for discussion within the company.

So do you all build one for wood in 2;to 4 inch thickness

If you are looking at up to 3”, the Orion system would work fine, you would just need to measure from both sides. On the 4”, you would need to jump up to our L620 or 622 and measure from both sides.

The Orion 950 is the only one that has Bluetooth Connectivity for the app.

@@eWood_q8 No. Everything is intended for Bluetooth communication and many of the functions recorded with the app are only available on the 950 i.e built in thermo-hygrometer and EMC calculator.
