That took a lot of courage to talk about your past on camera and honestly cannot imagen what you went through as a child. The other places in the video were nice as well but looking forward to your future adventures
You are SO STRONG! Thanks for sharing both your vulnerability and your courageous strength. You do, indeed, have so much to look forward to - and we are along for the adventure.
Thank you for sharing that with us - it was very courageous and I'm sure others will join me in sending respect and love to you. You have clearly come a long way as an adult.
A great video as always and some wonderful scenery too. It takes a lot of courage to talk about the things that you did, you should be very proud of yourself. Also I do agree, you have so much to look forward to 😊
That was raw and must have been horrible to revisit. Such a strong character to make yourself so vulnerable talking about such events. I hope it felt empowering. Nice vlog all in tho. Take care
Brilliant video Lorna. Honestly, it really took a lot of courage to talk about what you went through and I can't imagine what it would of been like. Those are some lovely looking places you've visited as well. :)
You are so brave and strong. Can't imagine the horrors you suffered in your earlier life, I was in bits watching you tell your story. Full credit to you for getting through it all. Bless you. 🙂
I'm also an abuse survivor at the hands of my family so I absolutely understand the conflicting feelings of resentment mixed with empathy and love. Big hugs
My family has some history with Somerset. My Great-Grandfather’s school was in Street, and his Prep school was in Glastonbury. I attended both those schools myself, and I even went had my 1st Wedding in Kingweston; my boarding house while I went to school in Street. The day before the wedding my ex-wife and I climbed the Tor with some of her family and friends.
The National Arboretum in Washington DC in America is an older, smaller version of the Eden Project. We live 2 hours away by train and we go there every time we go to DC, as it's only a few hundred meters from Union Station.
That was an emotional vlog and I think your dad would be so proud of you. You are a brave, independent, nice person, I love the way you make the most from your time off and enjoy life. Keep on keeping on. x
Thank you for being so strong in telling your story👍🏻 if people spoke out more we might be able to stop it happening to others now but the trouble is when abuse is going on it’s all kept a secret.
I know what you mean I am going through the same thing to it gets me down some time but I just get up and go for a drive somewhere and try to for get it I just think its a dream but its for real 😢 keep up the amazing vlogs we will sort it one day . Take care Chris x
Thank you so much for publically tackling such very difficult experiences & themes. It helps me, & I'm sure many people, to face our own. You have so much to be proud of ... hope your father would be / is proud of you for how strong, independent & successful you are. Sending lots of love & warm psychic hugs. I love this video. ❤ 😍
