I loved running/hiking the beautiful country. For increase challenge, do the run for our unit which is 5 mile (8.05 km) in 40 minutes but first 2 miles (3.22 km) must be completed within 17 minutes. I would be too scared to run bare foot. I would be paranoid that i might step on something dangerous. I happy for you that you complete your run. Good luck on the next one.
If you want to join the German Special Forces, you have to run 7.5km/4.7miles in 52 minutes with +20kg/+44lbs of weight. I just wanted to see if i can manage to beat that time for fun and did the challenge barefoot. It was hardcore and i'm going to try it again soon!

Looks like you need to spend more time barefoot so your feet are OK with the small rocks. Always fun to go barefoot in mud.
