The Grand Race is The Crew Motorfest's 28 player PvP system where you race across O'ahu with 3 different car classes.

This looks like the child of need for speed and forza. I think I might forgo motorsport and get this instead. Looks great.
yeah honestly I was more looking forward for motorsport and TDU SC but well the TC Motorfest beta was insanely good, very surprised by how well they improved the TC series with this game

Yeah I love flying the planes in the crew, to me forza is just phenomenal graphics and imo the gameplay is no where near as fun as this

Yeah always preferred the crew over forza horizon for some reason to me it seems like you have more freedom in it plus I have way more fun than I ever did with horizon 4 imo grand race is such an amazing addition to the crew game’s looking forward to finally playing motorfest next month 😁😁

Something about cars, trucks, and bikes being together in one path as motorboats whiz by at the side and planes flying overhead really makes a race absolutely exciting. Think the special events in Forza Horizon (like chasing the Vulcan jet in a Vulcan or chasing that airboat with the Toyota Tundra) but instead they’re actual players.
Dirt first, then offroad, then street cars, then plane or boat, then hypercars - *_this_* is how you reinvent an otherwise getting stale genre.
I couldn’t join a GR as there’s quite literally no one joining (only 7/28 over 30 minutes… not worth waiting for now). But I reckon the lobby will fill up faster at release (albeit laggy for obvious reasons). Can’t wait for the game!
Yeah the grand race is a master stoke it looks chaotic but really fun looking forward to exploring Oahu next month 😏😉
They really need to fix the lighting for the taillights the challengers bumper should not be reflecting the red of the taillights.

Yeah it has many improvements over the second game I loved the massive us map in tc2 but this looks phenomenal
why are you so shy on nitro? you have plenty of it, just use it

Using it wisely is the best way to do the grand race. many waste it without giving it a second thought.
@@The7thDestiny The game actually controls pretty decently and doesn't need the dumb refilling nitro gimmick. There's an option to turn it off, I wish that did more than just keep you from using it.
the nitro is stronger at the top of the tank thats why he is not using it fully

ive been playing a ton of mass races in riders republic and have been itching for something similar but with cars, im excited to try this when it drops
But the great thing with the crew is you can choose between cars, monster trucks, planes and bikes for these grand races, really looking forward to playing motorfest next month it looks awesome

So cool that you had the choice between car and plane in the second 1/3 of the race, and that choosing one or the other isn’t a complete disadvantage if you know how to handle either of them.
Yeah I like the flexibility with the choices I’ve loved everything I’ve seen of the grand race it’s such a fun addition to the crew series imo, I’m tempted to choose a bike for the off road section for when I play mainly for the manoeuvrability and also being able to squeeze through smaller gaps

@@mikro9099 I’m buying the game this afternoon I will reply back if I can - brought it and yeah you can either select if from the map or drive to the different ones that are located around I think you just need to do the opening intro races and then you can play the grand races when you want I plan to take part in my first one tomorrow!

Man the Rubber-Banding in this game is laughable. Great looking game but the rubber-banding needs to be cut by 20-30%.

Yeah the vehicles sound much improved in this game, also love how the sound gets quieter when you are making a jump and are in the air makes the racing even more exciting to me - love the attention detail I’ve seen in this game

Good video. One thing though, why on Earth didn't you just use up all that nitrous you had at the end of the video? I was sitting there verbally yelling "Dude, what the fuck are you doing? You got a full tank of nitro and lots of straight shortcuts, use the NOS"
Obviously its a lot of fun in these races, but i really don't like handling profile in arcade games... its so frustratting for me... I predicted maybe 2 months hype for these title and then... big fall down players 😂

Looks really good tbh, but with all these titles trying to copy Motorstorm, the fact Sony isn't even attempting to revive the franchise is completely beyond me. :(

I think they mixed up RR with RX in this Grand Race. There were a few races where you ran RR over the dirt roads (RX intended) and where you run RX over beach / rivers (RR intended). I don't think that was supposed to be like that, just a mistake in beta build, my guess.
Hmm, can't really figure out if Motorfest have catch up enabled for players behind 1st place? IsuckAtDriving, can you clearify?
There is slipstream but up to a certain distance.

Does the rally cross car handle better than the crew 2? I didn't like how it did before it kept sliding all over the place.

These race courses alone make me want to get this game and that's after hearing all the sounds of these cars which are remarkable and then the smoothness especially have long 28 racers this game at first I was thinking to myself nah I didn't really like the crew 2 but now after many videos of this in a tion the more I fall in love with it and can't wait for it

why does it seem like there's more Gravity added to the cars in this game, like you dont really fly through the air as smooth. also points where a car should have tipped over just dont.
How much money do you get if you lose? Or if you wasn’t in top 3 ?
From my experience in the Beta, you will get money on completion no matter what, however you get a % increase based on your ranking, I don't remember the precise percentage increases since I didn't really pay much attention

New forza game by ubisoft, with the same old rammers included, cant wait
It's a better Forza game with the planes and bikes are actual players and not scripted AI, and the multiplayer online is way more competitive.
@@channe3049 This game def has potential to be great but at this moment with the beta stuff, it doesnt look too promising, for now.
The playlist looks gorgeous but still the same old overused formula. Upgrades are locked by progression but whats the point if you are not using them in your own cars with the game forcing the playlists.
The multiplayer looks fun but if youre are grinding it to get rewards its gonna be hell. Everyone was praising the 'chaotic' racing but after some time its gonna deliver the same frustrations as forza multiplayer races.
The map looks pretty but still dead, and just considering that they are asking 70 for the most stripped down version... idk man. better to let this one cold down a little bit, i mean, it was supposed to be just a TC2 dlc no?

This is sooooo boring. With The Crew 2 they got the right formula, an incredible open world with a big variety of veichles you can swith on the fly, and not only cars, but bikes, boats, planes, helicopters, and everything in between.
They only needed a deeper, and less casual, upgrade system, a refined handling gameplay and physichs, and meaby presenting a more detailed and big world (with a recreation of Europe instead of USA meaby?).
What s waste of potential.😢
