These are very valuable rules for anybody who wants to get rich. Unfortunately, most people who will watch this video will not really be able to apply the principles. We may not want to admit, but as Warren Buffett once said, investing is like any other profession-- it requires a certain level of expertise. No surprise that some people are losing a lot of money in the bear market, while others are making hundreds of thousands in profit. I just don't know how they do it. I have about $109k now to put in the market.
Just Understanding personal finances and investing will most likely lead to greater financial independence. By being knowledgeable about money and investing, individuals can make informed decisions about how to save, spend, and invest their money. I know someone who made over $350k in this recession influenced market, but to the best of my knowledge, it was through a financial advisor.
Yeah, financial advisors could make a lot of difference, particularly in a market such as this. Stocks are pretty unstable at the moment, but if you do the right math, you should be just fine. Bloomberg and other finance media have been recording cases of folks gaining over 250k just in a matter of weeks/couple months, so I think there are a lot of wealth transfer in this downtime if you know where to look. I have been using an FA since 2019, and I return at least $121k ROI, and this does not include capital gain.

Whatever type of investment you decide to get into, I think the key message here, or for me rather is to start investing no matter how small. Don't rush into anything you're not absolutely sure of. Then of course you can always build from there.
What is small? What's small for you might be pretty large for someone else.
Evaluate your risk tolerance prior to investing, be aware of investments based on your goals and risk tolerance.
Diversify your portfolio, don't put all your eggs in one basket. It's way too risky.
Well spreading your eggs in different baskets you know little or nothing about could also be risky. Knowledge is power

if you invest smart, you will automatically increase your income! I spend many hours thinking about what my next investment should be to increase my passive income. My investment portfolio consists of Blue-chip stocks, Cryptocurrency, Crypto Mining, Defi yield farming. crypto staking, and a little bit of gold. some of my investments are high risk and some aren't. but never the less they generally all add up and fill my pockets. there is absolutely no way I'm going back to working a 9-5 job ever again. it's just not worth it!

If you earn the money, if you get your wealth with hard and honest work you definitely will be happy. If you inherit it or win the lottery then you most probably end up with depression.

Warren is a great guy. The thing that I am only against is the idea of crypto. Thinking these things are unproductive asset. He didn't even know about NFTs, Smart Contracts, DeFi, Cardano , Polkadot Eth and etc. It's a literal future changing environment, Blockchain is literally revolutionizing "trust".
I think the issue remains that cryptocurrencies demand and supply is more based on speculative positions than actually using the asset for useful transactions.
It's like if a company issues shares, generally the cash is used to expand/improve the company and produce value. With crypto it's become a last-man-holding-is-a-sucker game

I don't disagree with you. But he did specifically say to stay in your wheelhouse. My guess is he is not as knowledgeable in crypto to trust making big moves in it.

I would also add that blockchain has practical applications & will find many uses
However, trying to value cryptocurrencies is much harder - if not almost impossible - compared to assessing the value of businesses that must report income.& assets quarterly (ASX)
This is perhaps also why Buffet & many others avoid cryptocurrencies

This is absolute great information! I talk to so many people who ask "Should I sell now since the market is up and down"? I tell them that investing in stocks is really not a short game. When you consider buying a company only buy it if you plan to keep it 10 years. What I mean by this is if you do not really believe in this company you are usually uninformed about it and are moving off some idea that someone told you or some other unintelligent reason. Buy what you buy because you believe. We are in a pandemic and this market will see correction soon. We will come out slowly, but we will come out. So buy and keep buying! And if you are in it for the short-term place a "stop loss" that allows you to be comfortable with your risk.

But I want to carefully and respectully note, that his rules might currently not be as relevant anymore as 20 years ago or 60 years ago. It's an age of innovations currently. Also access to participation in the stock market has changed, so is changing world trade and private life spending for people. This is just what I'm thinking, analyze his tipps but also reflect on whether it's still 100% relevant for yourself.

Never underestimate agricultural or plantation land. Nobody, anywhere, is making anymore land. It is finite. You can live on that land and farm it. You can't do that with stocks, gold, bonds, etfs etc.
Nice to see someone seeing the full value of land investment. I believe it's one of the best cause even if it goes bad you still got somewhere to live eat and survuve

I know a lot of people have a lot to say about a recession or a depression. But do you know how many years it’s been since we started hearing about it ? Over 10 years and still here we are . In just four months my portfolio has grown by $550k in raw profits, all this while a recession is imminent “. Got me wondering if imminent has two meanings to it. Do no give in to your fears people. What kind of investment do you make . I totally agree with you . I have lump sum right now doing nothing in a savings account. But it’s hard for me to take part in the market right now due to the full time nature of my job. It will be way stressful to combust I don’t even think about it

I can correctly say she’s worth her salt as a financial adviser as her diversification skills are top notch/ I say because I see that in her results as my portfolio grows by average of 10 to 15% on a monthly basis, unlike I can say for my IRA who just been trudging along . My portfolio just mirrors what she trades and not just on some particular industries of my choosing

Normal people buy at high prices the stock market goes down , companies buys stocks back cheaper by introducing some disaster’ stock rises after a disaster and the cycle repeat .. having a good entry and exit strategy, alongside professional investment adviser will make you succeed in the stock market

Gold is a good investment. I started to buy in 2006. 600 dollars per oz. In 2010 i sold gold in ebay sometimes even 2000 dollas per oz. You have to be in at the right time.

"Cash is king" is being said for a completely different thing, not for investment. Nobody EVER says investing in cash is king. If you are a manufacturer or a retailer then cash is king. If you are investing then assests are what you are looking for.
