Richard Talmedge was pretty amazing! Real stuntmen/actors those days, like him, Dave Sharpe and of course Buster Keaton! Good upload....love the bikes, vehicles, his beautiful Chevy roadster!!
Thank You, That was a good movie. The best part is when the lead was fighting, When he hit the guy they pretty much went down pretty quick, And unlike some other movies after gettin hit they didnt fly 30 feet into the air, Then though a window. Down a flight of stairs and then get back up and fight some more.
Nice old Harley Davidson motorcycles about 1935 Flathead, my dad and uncle had one just these, mine was a 1963 Panhead, you'll always know the sound of an old Harley "Patata Patata Patata" thanks for the post
Well this was fun. Of course the plot had enough holes in it to drive one of those oil trucks through , but some good action scenes with the star doing all his own stunts ( I wonder if he was a stunt man at one time?). The most fun for me living in Southern California was trying to figure out where this was filmed and seeing what California USED to look like. That refinery could have been in any one of a number of places; El Segundo, Torrance, Long Beach, or even the west San Fernando Valley which gets my guess because of some of the hills in the background . California has changed SO much. Thanks for this.
It starts with a cop committing illegal entry and assault and threatening a suspect with violent beating. Then you have the dumbest gangsters around who shoot a truck driver and steal his truck in broad daylight in front of witnesses. It goes down hill from there. What is there not to like?
I love these old period movies, no prop person trying to guess what it might have looked like. I would say this was probably a very low budget film. At 54:52 was a camera crew and their trucks at 54:57, still great.
not bad at all for 1936...could have used some punching sounds/soundtracks, but probably not readily available back then on their movie budget...lol. Overall, enoyed this oldie 'pizzaflix.'
The only thing sillier was in "The Thirteenth Guest".....Two detectives walking toward the house, suddenly stop two feet before a body on the sidewalk (straight, level sidewalk, daylight,) One touches it for TWO SECONDS and says, "He'll be all right"..and keep walking. The director slept through that, apparently
The bad acting and the bad editing leave uncomfortable silences... characters behave artificially, and the plot, from the very beginning, is all wrong. Everybody knows about the feud between the girl and the patrolman, yet his colleague does not intervene when she speeds up in front of him, which would support his colleague contention that the girl was, in fact speeding. The hero is left to go alone, and again there is nobody backing up his claim about the girl. These old movies are charming in a way perhaps similar to the first film our own child made: we would be proud, but deep down it would be evident that it was an amateurish job.
It's too bad Talmadge didn't spend a little more time learning how to ride his motorcycle before filming. It's so obvious he barely knows how to operate it.
I have no real knowledge of law or law enforcement in this matter but I don’t object to a police officer pursuing someone who is resisting and evading arrest. Mutatis mutandis, of course.
righteous sounding harleys, love this one, thank you kindly for sake of epic moments online.
😢😮😅🎉😂😂❤
One of the best Stuntman ever. In this Movie Richard was 44 years old! Thank you so much!

Richard Talmadge, 'World's Greatest Action Hero', was in his forties during the making of this thriller.

Loved it....😊
This was an ok movie to watch and I rate it a 7. I have to say the stunts were fantastic and very entertaining.
👍, thank you.
Man in a STRANGE bathing suit ..?

I love hokey acting. It's so cringely funny.
This one is downright primative.
acting hokey on purpose can be really great but one must remain in character completely. "i can only do my best"
فلم اكثرمن رائع شكراًجزيلاً
Thank goodness a move with out rap music.
😂
great monday movie, thank you PizzaFlix 🎥🎥🎥🎥😊🥂
ps. what a spoiled brat she was

👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
That was hilarious 😂
Now, that was perhaps the most CORNY movie I ever saw, such dialog and fight scenes reminiscent of Jet Li. 🤡🤠🥳🌽🌽🌽🌽
🍔😋 THANKS!
its just a slight wound. Just let him lay there unconscious and maybe the doctor will come back.

I've watched a few of your movies now and halfway through after a commercial I always lose the sound.....very frustrating.
It does take a little too long for Talmadge to get going in this one but it's still good.
would have been better pre-code

I agree with everything you said, but this was fun to watch because of all that 😄.

Very poor direction
The fight scene at 51:37 when the bannister stair rail comes off in his hand😄
