so yeah, the animations if im not mistaken, were framented, per bone, and theres a HUGE amount of nodes and things to do to move them all together to make them work as one as we are used to
I'm new to making games, but when I made the character a first-person perspective, when I did (rotation yaw and pawn control rotaion), the player no longer rotates with the character, and when he stands still, you can see the player from behind. Can you fix this?
I don't currently do freelance work. But I can suggest you start simple, either with my crash course into UE5 or my beginners tutorial series. That should give you a good starting point of understanding game dev.
Please if possible make tutorials to make game like tomb raider/uncharted with interactive cinematics and interactive cutscenes enemy etc also make it for beginner friendly ❤ so much people are waiting like me
the fact that they couldn't include sprint and crouch with this, and will instead put it out in 5.5 does not inspire confidence. Is the system so obtuse that it takes several months to add two locomotion states? It does look impressive, I'll give them that- but at what cost?
It can for sure be the effect that a lot of projects will be making use of it because it is already done and looks good. Same can be said about ALS, a lot of projects made use of that template project similarly.

Does motion matching work ok in multiplayer?
I have not personally done motion matching in multiplayer, but a member on the Discord has. So I guess the answer is yes.
I believe they use it in Fortnite if I’m not mistaken so it should be good.

There is some point to you being sceptical for sure. There may of course be more to it than it seems, and time will tell. :)
