Question?!? Please explain the sugars for me. How do I put them down or break it down in my app? Fructose? Allulose? How do I separated the fruit sugars from the fake sugars?
Fructose is naturally found in fruit and not an added sugar unless it's in the form of high fructose corn syrup usually and that's definitely something to avoid. As far as entering then into an app you should be able to enter Allulose if you need to but it is a sugar alternative so you don't have to count this or other sugar alternatives as added sugars.
Hi Shelly, thanks for your content. I take a GLP-1 agonist medication. Could this potentially help combat any weight gain in this period? I am 44 and haven’t yet entered perimenopause. Thank you.
It's a whole new world with the glp1 meds so I don't know how this will shape the average weight gain in the late 40s or early 50s for women. These meds do decrease appetite and definitely work for weight loss and weight maintenance, but they also increase insulin (while on them) so it's hard to know. Overall though I think your average weight gain on them would be very little or none at all.
The past 12 months i have gained unknown weight and fouid retention. I believe i am perimenopausal even though doctors think im too younge (33) i am having all the symptoms they are totally endless and blood look good other wise but the onky thing thats afecting me mentall the most is the weight gain from a x small too medium suddenly has been very unpleasant
I workout 5 days a week so yes I put on weight but I look great because of the strength training.
That's awesome, and yes, weight gain from muscle is wonderful!

I think you mentioned in another comment that you took the depo shot. I have seen this medicine cause significant weight gain.
@@DrShelleyMeyer how long does it take to go away if ever even after one shot?
