We all Iranians are proud to our music especially our traditional music and culture and most importantly, lady's magical voice, Homayra, and finally i wanted to thank you for analyzing this perfect song
Yes it is the 80s, after the revolution. Homeyra is trained in classic Persian music (her master was Ali Tajvidi, a legend) who started singing pop songs like this, but her classic work is on another level. Maestro Tajvidi categorises her voice as alto with sorano capacity. Understanding Farsi might add to your pleasure of listening, but this song is not particularly great poetry. You are not missing that much in this case. She says "listen (goosh bede), because I'm still a lover". It's too funny. The "finale" is just a piece of instrumental music they added at the end of the cassette to fill it up, because the songs did not add up to 60 or 90 minutes space. Apparently, it was added to the digital version as well :))

Hello my good friend. Thank you very much for mentioning Iran and Iranians many times. My only regret is that you have only met a drop of the endless ocean of lovely Iran and Iranians. So, after I have to thank God for giving me the blessing of meeting a good-hearted, honest, knowledgeable and logical person like you, I must wish to share moment by moment with the treasures of this land and culture and Ancient and man-made civilization throughout history and become more familiar with the sea of love and kindness of Iran and Iranians. Hoping to meet you in Iran, the land of mine and other Iranians and all Iranian friends.

The translation of the song’s name: ‘listen to my voice because i’m in love’. Besides her amazing voice, the song is composed by the legend Mr. Sadegh Nojouki who composed many beautiful songs and melodies for Iranian talented singers that’s why you felt kind of familiarity with some notes. It’s his style and signature.
