The opening scene perfectly captures Blackpool: wild, windy, a couple who have clearly been out all day, a manic roar, lunacy and more lunacy. Blackpool, never change.
Beautifully shot Stephen. Your camera is great. Thankyou for an entertaining vlog once again. Really appreciated and loved it. 😊I also love the ring of the old tram wheels on the tracks takes me back to my childhood😊❤
Good Evening Stephen. I really Hope your Foot is getting better. It really needs to rest up and you need an Ice-pack around it. You really are a Trouper to come out at night and do a Walk around the streets of Blackpool. The Night Life of Blackpool is Incredible. I really Loved and Admired your Zoom in shot of Blackpool Tower and the Moon. It was just Perfect for your video Stephen. Thank you very much for sharing. Jonathan/ Peterborough.
Thank you Stephen, always enjoy your videos. Coming to Blackpool again in a couple of weeks so must check out the Holiday Inn. Hope your foot is on the mend soon. Keep up the fantastic work 👏 A fan from Belfast N.ireland.
Kicking off and you've only just got there! Wow just a bit windy in Blackpool doesn't stop people from going out though but a night out's a night out. The tower, moon, sea and old tram, Blackpool in one picture beautiful. Thanks for the video Stephen, hopefully you got your feet up with a warm drink afterwards.😊😊😊
Good to see so many people in Blackpool even in that weather. The illuminations look great as always along with the tower. The moon looks pretty bright.
Cold and very windy blackpool my friend and you still went out and videod it for us all. Just want too say thank's my friend and i alway's enjoy you're video's keep up the good work n hope you're foot gets better soon.
Hi Stephen, hope you've had a good day. Guess what has just come? My calendar,🎉it's fab love the pictures, thank you so much, keep doing your vlogs, love watching all you do. Hope your foot feels better, take good care thanks again 😊xx
Great shot of the moon and the tower! The markets in Blackpool were the best! Always find something I couldn't get at home! Hope your managing to rest your feet!!!! Thankyou for taking the time to fo these vlogs
This was another great video Stephen, the windy weather, the wild sea and the Blackpool Tower really looked great. Thanks for braving the bad weather, with your bad foot.
Evening Stephen, fantastic walk, really interesting. The tower looks amazing. We do miss the markets but thinking about it we never really bought anything from them, thanks for that, Cheers mate.
Good evening Stephen. Thank you for your walk around showing the night life in Blackpool. always looks nice all the coloured lights. Today was stormy and wet here in Berlin. Hope that you still have a calendar for me and my brother David when I come to England on the 2nd November. We are planing a trip to Blackpool on the 3rd November because we would like to see Chris before he closes for the winter. I would like to give him something personally. Wish you all the best. Take care of your foot. Mildred. xxx
I'm on catch up and have been so busy to watch. Thanks for video Stephen always great from someone who knows. Your foot problem get to sketchers the one at Freeport Fleetwood and get some arch support shoes/trainers it will help you walk without pain.
I remember my Nana being blown off her feet by the wind, if she hadn't have managed to grab onto a lampost she would have been toast xx and my sister was in a black cab coming down the front, the cab actually got blown off the road and nearly went through Woolies Window , Blackpool is not a place, at times, when you can worry about your hair do! xx
I remember Bonny Street market but I also remember some of the markets down the South Shore. Station Road and Waterloo Road had a fair few markets as well as a few down Lytham Road.
Enjoying your videos. I grew up in Blackpool until 197... whatever! Agreed on the old markets. Abingdon Street and St John's. When I was in my teens , Trilogy was Jenkinson's bar. That was my home from home. Also, Yates's was right opposite, in the building with the Tivoli cinema
Yes, you are a good ambassador for Blackpool. It would be good if you could do one of Bradford, despite what people say it is a great place for a night out and the curry houses are world class!
Evening mr BP, quite new to yr channel, absolutely love the content been going through many of yr vlogs over the weekend, brilliant, keep up the great work buddy 👍 😀
Ad came on for Akusoli insoles for your foot problem. 😮lol You need a nice wooly scarf Stephen to keep you warm on the windy days of winter. Great to see all the new buildings now, I can remember the old bus station Stephen. Thanks for sharing all this, you look after those feet. Did you catch the comet last night, was bit cloudy here. But the moon was very bright. Take good care see you on your next vlog bye for now 😊x
Thanks, Stephen. Looks pretty miserable weather wise up there. Tower looked nice with the moon. Shame about the amount of rubbish blowing about. That DWP building looks pretty monstrous really. Nice to see another balloon car tram doing its thing. Those bollards work wonders on protection from traffic, if a vehicle hits them at speed it's literally demolished while the bollard remains firmly in place.
Friend of mine suffers with Plantar fasciitis no cure as such but whenever it flares up he covers his foot with Voltarol and this reduces the inflammation for a good while until it flares u again and he does same again and so on.
Yes I remember it all I just can’t believe how much it changed in 24yrs , Bonnie rubble use to a night club called “ Paddy McGinty goat “ I was the door man , and remember when the “ Hopp In “ was called “ the Veevers , “
Near the old bus station that is now the car park back in the early 2000s wasn't there a gray building and it had a picture of Barney from the Flintstones on It? I was only little but I think I remember it like that
My Wife & I were in Blackpool on Saturday night only lasted half an hour because of the high winds so went back to our hotel The Royal Boston Hotel and watched a brilliant cabaret show from Show Icons.
@@AWalkontheWildSideBlackpool Couldn't believe the difference on Sunday night as we were able to go from North Pier to Central Pier with hardly a breath of wind, once at the Central Pier we were shocked at the state of the boardwalk it was creaky & unstable, a lady in front of us almost tipped her mobility scooter over due to the wood panels, I think it should be closed off in the off season so that much needed repairs can be carried out, what are your thoughts on that?

Markets nearly everywhere are coming to a sad end, I live in a small Town in North Nottinghamshire and it used to have a terrific market in ratio to the size of the Town, likewise in the other Town I moved from just 8 miles away that also had a lovely market. Amazon, supermarkets and other online vendors have virtually killed them off. Only ones I know that are thriving are the ones in London and Bury in Greater Manchester.
I am not surprised it looks blustery like that, the entire weekend has been freezing, especially early in the morning, I’ve been so cold. I hate the approach of autumn/winter, when the cold gets in your bones, I feel like running back indoors again when I go out, I dread the winter nowadays, getting older. Hot casseroles and a steaming hot bowl of soup (with roll and butter) are the way to deal with it, food that warms your insides up and you feel less cold. Roll on summer next year.
We when shopping in Blackpool Saturday we sat in one of the shelters near the war memorial to have are lunch it was very windy but the weather turned very bad on the M6 the rain came down very hard at one time we could only do 20mph with the wipers on full speed every one else was also going slowly but what gets me the are still cars driving with no lights on but when we reach the orral junction the it was bone dry but it cort up with us later on at home
@@AWalkontheWildSideBlackpool Peter Jones correct that was on corner by old bus station, And barney rubble night club was above the Tache, The other shops next to carpet place was Progress taxis, Georgian chippy, body piercing shop and car sales, king arms pub and what you've mentioned wheatshef pub.
That's a nice touch to your vlogs by adding the names of the Roads and Streets you are walking down. Must add more time to your editing though but it's helpful for people who are not familiar with the area.
Loved Bonny street market, really sad that abingdon market is a soulless experience now, it's now like our area, Portsmouth, since it is now a university city, it is now a rubbish city to live in as students are more important than the residents!!

My father used to day, the reason why all the posters advertising Blackpool are of people linking arms, was to stop them being blown into the sea.
The opening scene is more like they are Sozzled with a bit of Wind thrown in to assist the already staggered legs

Cookson st fasciitis?..is caused by walking up & down the same street too much Steve, the cure is giving it a rest.🦶🔥😀
I used to love going to the markets when I was there. Always picked up a bargain. They should build an indoor market
