Speech and press is number 1
Number 2 is for the gun
Soldiers sleeping in your houses number 3, you see
Search and seizure number 4
Number 5 protects your rights so you won't be put on trial for the same thing twice
6 is for jury so make it quick and fair
For a civil jury trial, number 7's there
8 is great don't punish me too hard
Number 9 protects the people from the rights not already ours
10 says the govt. can never get to big 'cuz the constitution gives it all the power that it should
11 deals with people suin' livin' out of state
12 shows how we pick the president and that is pretty great
13, my friend, makes slavery a crime
14 makes citizens if you've got the time
Slaves get to vote 'cuz 15 finally passed
And we thank you number 16 now we pay an income tax
17's a winner if you ever go to dinner with a senator elected by a popular vote
Number 18 is a bummer if you drink like Donna Summer prohibition was selected to keep alcohol rejected
19 for women, they finally get to vote
20's kinda dumb so I'll rhyme it with boat
21 was cheered 'cuz it brought back the beer
And number 22 says the president can only serve eight years
Number 23 helped out Washington D.C.
24 made a poll tax of reality no more
25 tells what to do, if the president should die
26 gave voting to 18-ers, whoa alright
There's one more amendment and then you'll know them all it's number 27, the newest one of all. It tells congress not to try to raise their pay
But if they do, then it's cool the new pay starts another day.
